Casa dei massimi is a newly renovated apartment 80 sqm (807 sq-ft) located on the Ground floor, only ten minutes from the Vatican Museum.
It is sparkling and comfortable with every amenity. Nicely furnished consists of a spacious bedroom for two people. There is a double sofa bed in the living room for two more guests. The charming kitchen is fully equipped and there is a dining area with table and chairs. There are two fully tiled bathrooms with showers, toilets with bidets. To reach the entrance of the building there are a few steps, then approximately a twenty meter walkway to get there from the street, but you will feel like you are living among the locals.
On foot, in 10-15 minutes you can reach the Vatican Museum and admire the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica of St. Peter.
The subway station “Cipro” Line A metro is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. From here the historical Spanish steps is only four stops away and the Termini Station from which trains depart for Florence, Bologna or Milan is easy to reach in 10 minutes.Just below the apartment on the street there is available bus transportation to the city center that will take you to Piazza Navona, the Colosseum or the picturesque Trastevere district where you can eat in one of the great many local restaurants, admire Tiberina Island and visit the Jewish Ghetto. The area is busy in the day time due to the many professional offices and shops located here, but at night time it gets very quiet. This is the perfect area to stay at with family or friends.
A grocery store is located at the bottom of the steps to your right as you approach the street level and a pizza restaurant that has wonderful local food. Great gelato is just beyond the restaurant. There is a florist located in the middle of the street close to the apartment. In a distance of 100 meters you have lot of shops, including a butcher, food shop, bar, wine shop, bank, pharmacy, gas station, pizza and restaurants. On weekday mornings, when you approach the street, you will hear the hustle and bustle of Rome and you will mingle with the locals sipping espresso at the corner café before catching the subway to your favorite tourist spot.
