Loved this cabin

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for me and my husband. It had many little touches that made it special. Very quiet and fun to watch the deer that frequent the neighborhood. It was the perfect distance from town for a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Also within a few miles from beautiful hiking trails. We loved it!

Very nice area and the cabin was well supplied. The s'mores Were a nice touch.

The only thing about the property that was a neg. was that the walls and ceilings needed to be vacumned. We were sneezing a lot before we realized the reason . But the property was very clean otherwise.

We enjoyed our stay in your little cabin. I hope think we were the longest stay recorded. Hedy

MADE US WANT A COZY CABIN LIKE THIS

  • 5 of 5

My husband and wanted to take some time off to get away and relax. This was a very well made cabin from the 1930's. It's cozy and full of character and so peaceful. It truly made us want to build a cozy cabin like this on our property. The owner has added special touches to make it even more comfortable and inviting. If you plan on staying in Red Lodge, I would recommend you check Montana Moose Cabin out. Shirley B

The best memories we have on vacation were made in this quiet little cabin.

  • 5 of 5

This little cabin is so much more then what I expected, it's warm, quiet, and simply everything we wanted and more. Every thing from decor to convince and working with the owners was flawless. When we come back to Red lodge this will be the only place I will stay at. It's in a perfect location from the mountain but it's still right in town for the convince of shops etc. Amazing place I would highly recommend staying here

Arriving in Red Lodge from the north

The Montana Moose Cabin is located approximately 1.2 miles south of the Highway 78 turnoff. Drive south on Broadway (Highway 212) until you pass first 19th St. and then South Hauser Ave. which is angled off to your right. You will have passed the Red Lodge Inn just before South Hauser and then you will pass the Altana credit union immediately after South Hauser. Both the Red Lodge Inn and the credit union are on your right. There is a Red Lodge historical marker directly across Broadway on the left. Approximately 200 ft. past the intersection with South Hauser is the turnoff to Buettner Park. Right past the Red Lodge Alliance church is a turn into Buettner Park by a wooden archway with a sign hanging from it that says gallery. Go through the gap in the stone wall that has pink flagging on each side of the opening. Number 38 Buettner Park is the third cabin on the right.
