Booking a property through Victoria Prime ensures you get the highest quality property for the best value and nobody beats our customer service. Start with Liz and Maureen who personally work with you to make sure you find the right property for your specific needs or wants. Send us your wish list; we know all of the properties personally and can steer you in the right direction.

We make the booking process easy and secure, no hassles or worries. You can book online through our secure website and see all about us, our properties and services; or just give us a call and we will book for you on the phone.

Please Note: VRBO is now quoting in US dollars as the default currency, email us for a proper bookable quote link. You can also go to the Rates page on VRBO and at the top right hand corner you will see a drop down that will allow you to see the rates in the currency of your choice. As we are in Canada, our rates are set in Canadian Dollars. In any case, the settlement will occur on your credit card in your currency and the exchange rate given will depend on the policies of your bank.

After booking, you will be introduced to one of the members of our wonderful concierge team, who will answer all of your questions, and working with you to arrange a time to meet and greet you at the property so they can offer a proper building and unit orientation, make sure you know how to use everything and know the best places to go.

We hope you will let us show you what customer service is all about. It is the fun part for us after all.

(Note: Due to recent changes made by VRBO, our GUEST REVIEWS written into our guest books we have in our properties, have been moved to the MANAGER INFO tab right next to Photos. We at Victoria Prime greatly appreciate any and all feedback from our guests, but do not like to hound people to write a review online if they are not comfortable with that process. We find most of our guests enjoy sharing their experiences while relaxing in the condo after a fun filled day or they often respond to our thank you email and share their experiences then. We post them all, even if they are imperfect. We hope you will have a look.)

This brand new condo is just two blocks from the waterfront, in the Old Town neighbourhood of The Empress, the Legislature and the Union Club; a fantastic location in the heart of the City, a gem for those who enjoy the livable, walkable, sophisticated downtown life.

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are the bare facts. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed and the second bedroom is a Full.

The difference is in the details.

The kitchen is designed with thick polished natural granite slab countertops, contemporary shaker-style frosted glass accent cupboard doors, custom peninsula for gourmet convenience, double undermount stainless steel sinks, european soft-closing drawers & doors and under-cabinet LED lighting.

GE Monogram® appliances are throughout; chosen for their quality craftsmanship, timeless design, professional features, and to satisfy the most discriminating home cook.

Bathrooms have custom vanities featuring lower exposed open towel shelf beneath vanity, thick profile polished marble countertops, custom wood and glass mirrored medicine wall cabinets with integrated open shelving and under cabinet lighting, Walk-in showers with thick glass frameless enclosures with adjustable, polished chrome sliding shower bar, detachable Grohe pulsating spray shower head and porcelain tile surround, and rectangular undercounter porcelain sinks with Grohe dual lever polished chrome faucets.

The Sovereign’s interiors are a masterful mix of the modern with a warmth and character that befits the City’s

most storied neighbourhood using warm urban glamour with cosmopolitan finishes, distinctive granites and

wide plank hardwood flooring.

One really neat and modern feature is the elevator garage system. It's pretty fun to drive into an elevator in your car to take you to your parking spot. That said, it is not ideal for big trucks or SUVs. If you will be renting or bringing a car, make it a smaller one.

Sovereign Commons is a rooftop terrace re-imagined as an outdoor living room with bountiful greenery, cushy seating, an outdoor fireplace and an outdoor kitchen with a built-in stainless steel barbeque and dining seating. A place to connect with your family and guests or other residents of The Sovereign.

Beautiful building, finishings and location.

Guestbook comments from the manager

The apartment is very new, beautifully decorated and outfitted, and extremely clean. Communication is very good. Was met at the door by a representative of the management company. Given a very thorough orienttion to the building and apartment. There is an excellent house manual with some great rceommendations for shopping and dining. The common rooftop area is really beautiful, we had a perfect family barbeque up there. Location is great for exploring the city on foot.

Perfect Victoria lodging

  • 5 of 5

Luxury, value, location and personal care and attention charecterize our (two couples) experience with this apartment and the rental company. Absolutely central location, beautiful apartment with the highest quality appliances, bedding, furnishings and electronics. The roof deck has the best views in the city, there are endless views of the Olympics, the San Juan islands, Haro Straight, the Cascades and all of the harbor activity. Spectacular sunsets! great coffee place in the same block and our favorite restaurant a block away.

Best of all was Sharon, the renters representative who met us at the apartment and provided us with an amazing orientation to the city including many restaurant and site seeing suggestions. There was also a comprehensive notebook that had her personal recommendations on dozens of restaurants and sites.

We have already recommended this apartment to several of our friends.

Too-short stay in wonderful condo.

  • 5 of 5

This rental rates as one of the top two we have ever experienced (in several countries). We wish we had booked it for longer than 3 nights. The listing is accurate, the location ideal, the amenities and décor perfect, and the managers (Bruce and Tim) were very helpful. Little details (cozy throw on comfortable sofa in front of large-screen TV, soaps in bathroom, and kitchen condiments) were thoughtful. The decorating and linens met our tastes, and the marvelous roof-top views were a pleasant way to end a lovely day of sight-seeing in beautiful Victoria. Some may find the lack of a TV in the bedrooms a problem, but to us the big-screen in the living room was plenty. The seagull-droppings could be a problem on the private patio, but we were too busy going around town to even have time to go out there, and the roof-top more than made up for this little inconvenience. We thoroughly enjoyed Butchart Gardens, walking to the Empress Hotel, the city sight-seeing bus, and the Bard and many things within easy walking distance. Happily we arrived at the end of the annual Dragon Boat Races and enjoyed the revelry at the harbor pubs. We must return to see all that we missed.

I spent seven days at this beautiful condo in the heart of downtown Victoria with my wife and two friends (husband/wife). We were blown away by the amazing location. This unit is within a very short walking distance to EVERYTHING Victoria has to offer.

The HUGE private patio was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and read the paper in the morning. The unit's communal rooftop sanctuary is stunning and arguably has the best panoramic views in the greater Victoria area.

The condo is beautifully decorated, has easy to use WIFI, Cable and NETFLIX and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Liz, Bruce and Tim were exceptionally accommodating. Thanks for a great trip!

Community Information:

Everything is so close here, your are literally moments away from everything great in Victoria including public transport to get you anywhere outside of walking distance.

Community Amenities:

A walk along Wharf Street in the heart of Old Town provides a look at many examples of Victorian architecture. Despite a fire in 1910, which ravaged the city core, many fine buildings remain and many restorations are evident. There are many cultural attractions throughout the city that can be accessed on foot or by Tour Bus from in front of the Fairmont Empress Hotel. The Royal British Columbia Museum - British Columbia’s past, present and future are alive at the Royal BC Museum. With a collection of more than seven million unique objects and documents, there’s something incredible to see every time you visit. The RBCM is located in downtown Victoria, at the corner of Belleville and Government streets, close to the parliament buildings and the Empress Hotel. National Geographic IMAX Theatre is next door. You can visit Helmcken House, BC's oldest standing home open to the public. It is situated behind the Totem Poles and Longhouse at Thunderbird Park, beside the Royal BC Museum. Stroll the famous Inner Harbour and visit the Victoria Marine Adventure Centre where you can access a wide variety of marine adventure services. Floatplane charters as well as regular scheduled flights depart from the same area. Stroll along Wharf Street into Old Town Victoria. The Maritime Museum of British Columbia is housed in the historic 1889 Provincial Law Courts building situated in Bastion Square. This is where the province's Chief Justice Matthew Ballie Begbie, 'The Hanging Judge,' once handed down his sentences in the paneled courtroom. As you enter the galleries your eye will catch the lacy ornamental grillwork of the caged elevator. Considered the oldest operating elevator in the country - it remains a must see on your visit. Beautiful woodwork decorates the public spaces including California redwood, walnut, cedar and oak. The vaulted ceilings and elegant cornices provide an appropriate setting for the visitor's journey back through history. Board an authentic Double-Decker bus for a tour of the city or a trip to the Butchart Gardens. In the same general area is the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. The observatory also includes a new 7000 square foot interpretive centre called the Centre of the Universe. Victoria Butterfly Gardens is located nearby and is always a hit with children and adults alike. Victoria's mild climate makes outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and golf a year round activity. The game of cricket has been played here since 1858, and today over 90 teams are active in the area. A stroll down to the cricket field at Beacon Hill Park will introduce you to the finer points of the game. There are many parks in the city with Beacon Hill Park being the most popular. With over 184 acres, Beacon Hill not only provides splendid views of the ocean, but also one may visit the Petting Zoo, a popular place to take the kids. Close by is the duck pond with its assortment of resident waterfowl. Close by is the historical St. Ann's Academy. St. Ann's was established in 1858, and the building as we see it today was constructed in three sections, between 1871 and 1913. The Sisters operated a school, Convent and Novitiate within its walls. The grounds went through several phases, serving meditative, recreational and practical needs over the years. The Academy closed its doors in 1973, but the history and development continues, with restorations and its current uses. Abkhazi Garden is an exquisite heritage garden, which was created in the late 1940's by Prince and Princess Nicholas Abkhazi. It has been owned by The Land Conservancy of BC since February 2000 when it was purchased as part of a community effort to save the site from a housing development. The garden, gift shop and tearoom are open to the public. Guided group tours can also be arranged in advance. Craigdarroch Castle, Victoria's legendary landmark, is only a 20-30 minute walk from Victoria's Inner Harbour (in Rockland) with interesting antique shops and services along the way. Bus service to Joan Crescent, a two minute walk from the Castle is available from downtown. Round off your day downtown with a magical tour of James Bay, downtown Victoria, or Beacon Hill Park in a horse drawn carriage from Victoria Carriage Tours.
