She taught school in Ohio and South Carolina. The views FRESH seafood, sunsets, sunrises........playing on the beach, sea turtles nesting in the spring, surfing, long romantic walks on the beach. Fishing off the pier . All the wonderful things the low country has to offer! boat rentals and bike rental nearby You will have a beautiful ocean view from your private balcony to watch the shrimp fleet, kites and windsurfers,PODS OF DOLPHINS come through on occasion . Take a dip in the pool, fish from the private fishing pier or walk over the sand dunes walkway to the beach.shopping nearby and several restaurants also grocery and seafood store . The isle of Palms is not not overly touristy (a nice quiet community with 2 or 3 souvenir shops) so it makes a nice place to bring the whole family. if you want to RELAX or play this is definitely THE PLACE to VISIT! It is great for all vacations whether A GREAT ROMANTIC GETAWAY a family vacation or a friends get together !

Washers and dryers are located in the pool house. Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals,BICYCLES,RESTAURANTS are available nearby 1 or 2 blocks .

Good place, we enjoyed our stay

Place was not as bad as a few of the reviews I have seen but definitely needs some attention-updated linens, bedding and sofa. Location was excellent. Door was easy once we got hang of it. We did notice a musty smell upon entering but we were able to live with it. I would stay here again.

SeaCabins are centrally located to the beach and several eateries. This was the best part!

The Owners of Gingers Haven were really easy to communicate with and responsive. After getting the hang of the locking/code door knob it was nice not to have keys to deal with. SeaCabins are centrally located next to the beach, pool, and close to several eateries. Easy to walk and enjoy music that was played in the evening at Banana Rama.

This condo needs updated and thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom shower plumbing fixtures need replaced. We had to shower everyday with 2 inches of water in the tub. We couldn't get the DVD player to work either. The comforter on the bed on spots on it, so I washed it myself. I was disappointed and tearful upon check-in. I messaged the owners, who live out of state. They were really sorry and are looking into it.

Definitely needs a facelift!

We stayed here 3 nights unfortunately over Memorial Day weekend..

The condo was "clean enough", but definitely needs updating. The couch has been there way too long with wearing on the cushions and the pillows old and well-worn.

The sliding lanai door did not lock , unless one thinks the large dowel stick on the track runner is the lock?? The lanai window/door was filthy. (Cleaning person ?) The carpet on the lanai definitely needs replacing. There was a champagne cork on the floor behind the curtain, so maybe the cleaning person needs to be informed to do a better job?

It would have been nice to have a hair dryer, some restaurant brochures or local literature? We had never been in the area before...

Then the lock on the door. !! Please replace with something more modern!

One shouldn't have to "watch a video" to see how to open the door! We did fine the first day, the 2nd day we spent 45 minutes trying to open it! (And no we had not been drinking---it was 4pm). The only thing that worked for us which should be mentioned was to push the door "in" while doing this number lock thing. We have stayed in many VRBO places and we have also been apt./condo owners.

One should also be made aware that this condo complex is directly across from the main parking lot for the beach and even tho you have a "code" to get to the beach and pool we saw numerous people using the complexes gate by just waiting to pass through!

The "security" there is a joke. People in the pool at midnight (waking us up), cops showing up, and a dog in the pool area as well, (no dogs in the pool sign)..!

Again, maybe because it was a "holiday" weekend? Maybe another time would be safer and more quiet? I would think so.??

Would not stay here or in this complex again.

Great property, great location

Having grown up on the IOP, I wanted to go back and visit the island. Staying in the Sea Cabin condos was perfect...just steps to the beach, safe area, everything you need. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Everything you need is close by, the beach, the sun, grocery store, gas station, and restaurants. I didn't have to leave the island all weekend. The room itself was nicely apportioned, and has a nice island motif. Very comfy and everything I needed for the weekend. No problems at all.

Beautiful

Great location. Did get a little stuffy in the bedroom....sleeper sofa could use another mattress....getting "tired"...but it was a great place to visit. Private pier and nice swimming pool. Loved that we were on the beach.
