Great house

  • 5 of 5

The house was great; it served all our needs for our large family of 8. We could hear the sound of the waves at night. The beach is just across the street. We loved the house and we recommend it. Food land is across the street as well.

December 14 - 20. I wanted a 5 bedroom house with at least queen size beds located conveniently to the North Shore. The mattresses were comfortable. It was spacious enough for us seven adults and three children. There were plenty of towels. I could tell when I stepped through the door that the floor was dirty. The door to the deck has no handles or knobs. You have to put your hand through a ragged hole in the screen to open the door. The roof leaked on our heads. The whole house needs a cleaning. It looks like someone takes a broom and sweeps the dirt in the corners. We ran out of toilet paper the third day. The cupboards and doors are ramshackle falling apart. The couch doesn't have a back. The coffee pot didn't work. The toaster doesn't work, the hot tub and pool table are off limits. But someone was using the hot tub one day. The bedsheets are threadbare. There are no mirrors. The grill was so dirty, the smoke alarms went off when we tried to use it. The shower never gets warmer than tepid and the day after we arrived the tv/internet went off. We called to see if there was an outage and they told us the cable bill hadn't been paid. The bicycles had flat tires. The paddle boards had no paddles. There is a man that 'lives' downstairs who says he is the owner who blamed either Steve or Homeaway for not paying the cable bill. The illusive 'Steve' never did respond to my messages. Homeaway was also unresponsive to my messages. I will stick to other vacation rental sites that I have been satisfied with. I would never recommend this place or Homeaway to anyone. Ever.

We had a great time. Our kids were in the Haleiwa Menehune surf contest so we did a Staycation. Foodland is right next door, swimming and surfing is everywhere!! The house had bikes, some we could fill air with pumps some could not, but enough to go around. Outside shower helped keep the house sand free-ish. Washer dryer kept the towel supply up. Kitchen stocked with what we needed to make meals. Had a problem with the refrigerator which was switching on and off and never really got cold. We just counted on keeping the coolers filled with ice for our perishables. Our property Manager Steve, was available and allowed us a late check out for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay there again.

Great house for a great stay on the North Shore

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from our stay and we miss the house and North Shore already! The house is in a great location steps away from multiple beaches, food trucks, the grocery store, and beautiful sunsets. We had 8 people with room to spare stay in the house. There was only AC in 2 of the rooms upstairs which was unfortunate for the downstairs rooms which did have fans but it was still hot and a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, no complaints about our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Great location, amazing house.

  • 5 of 5

With a large group of eleven people (seven of them being children) this house was very accommodating. The house was clean with plenty of towels and linens. We used the grill on the deck for many of our meals, and the outdoor shower made washing the kids off a breeze . Sharks cove is a short walk across the street and has prime snorkeling for all ages. The house has many beach toys and snorkeling gear to choose from, with grass matts and beach towels at our disposal. The on site washer a dryer was very convenient. We had a few minor issues with lights in one bedroom and a bathroom, these concerns were brought up to the manger Steve who was very helpful with addressing our concerns.

I recommend this house to anyone who is staying on the North Shore with a large group. The neighborhood is quiet, and the sound of waves in the background makes staying at this house very enjoyable. Like everywhere else on the island there are free range chickens, their presence was not an issue for our group. A cup of coffee from Vintage Island coffee in Hale'iwa was a regular stop of ours. Hale'iwa Beach House has amazing food and views from the patio and should be experienced a least once during your stay on the North Shore. If we ever stay on the North Shore again we will return to Three Tables Beach House.

Family trip, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We had three generations: 7 adults, 3 kids, 1 baby, and this house was comfortable for all of us. The house and location is an opportunity to feel the 'real Hawaii' and not a pristine resort. One block off the beach, one block away from the grocery, one block away from the food trucks. Oh, there is an avocado tree in the front yard that was dropping ripe avocados during our stay. They were great eating!
