About Marsha Rosenthal
I love Athens and my neighborhood. I live right in the middle of the action between Milledge and Lumpkin. On game days, you can feel the excitement in the air as you watch fans streaming past the house on their way to the stadium. I'm a counselor and a UGA graduate and love the vibe of Athens. There is so much to do here: watching all kinds of sports; attending concerts, theatre, and shows; going out to eat in fine, ethnic or funky restaurants; and the list goes on.
Marsha Rosenthal purchased this House in 1990
Why Marsha Rosenthal chose Athens
Location, location. location and the charm of an updated craftsmen bungalow make this house a hit. In short, the house has character. It is homey because it is a family home. It is not stiff and formal but it is also not indestructible. People who like this property are looking for something different, not the cookie cutter rental property.
What makes this House unique
The house is close to everything. You don't have to get in your car all weekend. Enjoy a walk through campus on your way to the game. Eat in or go to restaurants within two blocks of the house.

Great place and location!
We loved staying here for the UGA game. We could easily walk to our tailgate and the stadium. Plenty of room for the 6 of us! We loved the front porch too!
Thanks Heather. I am so glad that you had a great experience. Come again and go Dawgs!
Don't pass up this house on your next stay in Athens.
We enjoyed our stay at this 100 year old quaint house in Athens. It was perfect for our family gathering at graduation. Clean, homey and comfortable. Kitchen was great and a treat to be able to use what we needed. We hosted brunch and sat on the wonderful front porch. We would have stayed all day if we did not have to leave for home. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean.
Have already recommended to many friends whose children will be graduating in 2 years.
Thanks for your review! Please remember me for football weekends!
Great stay in Athens
Beautiful historic home, awesome location, friendly and flexible owner. We loved our stay and hope to return again.
Thanks for the sweet review. I would welcome you and your family back anytime!
Very nice home. Very clean. Beautiful porch. We had everything we needed. Walking distance to five points and to some campus locations. The owner was kind enough to work with our schedule when we were moving our daughters into their school housing.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay. I hope that you'll make my home your home away from home in Athens!
We loved Marsha's home. She welcomed us with brownies, enough said!
We loved the beautiful home. It was comfortable for the four of us, but six could have been comfortable. We were there for UGA graduation and it was perfect. My only regret was we didn't have enough time to sit and relax on the beautiful front porch and the rain, the rain was inconvenient! Thank you so much Marsha.
You are most welcome! I'll see you in 2019 if not before!
We rented the house for UGA graduation. The house is spacious and beautiful; it is decorated with antiques and interesting art. The porch is wonderful. The beds were all comfortable. Marsha went out of her way to accommodate us and greeted us with freshly baked brownies. We can't wait to go back for a game day!
Two blocks from UGA track and practice field.
Two blocks from top rated restaurants.
