Modern but comfortable furnishings. Everything in the apartment is brand new. Java colored kitchen cabinets with limestone countertops and stainless steel appliances. Bright and airy with distant views to Makaleia Falls from the kitchen window. A bamboo breakfast table with clear chairs for two opens up to accommodate 4 people. Crown moulding with custom LED lights for evening ambiance. Flat screen 50'' TV. Comfortable java leather couch with matching modern wood cushioned chairs and a beautiful glass coffee table. A white shag rug contains the living room. The bathroom has a limestone tiled shower with earth toned glass border and a glass shower enclosure. Limestone tile also covers the bathroom floor. Bathroom Master bedroom contains a King size bed with soft and cozy linens, and pillows. Two nightstands are on either side of the bed and a IHome is situated on the night stand for your iPhone. The IHome can be used as your stereo, clock or alarm clock. Big window with Java colored blinds for nice sunlight during the day or darken them for a good nights sleep. The guest bedroom contains two twin beds and a nightstand. These beds also are outfitted with cozy, soft linens and pillows. The window in the guest room also gives you distant views of Makaleia Falls. This apartment offers the convenience of getting a massage downstairs. A popular local massage business is located below as well as a popular eatery. The start of the Kappa bike path is one block away. You can run, bike or walk your way along this breathtaking full ocean view path (Kauaipath.org). You can't get any closer to the ocean unless you just decide to go swimming. You can walk to the Safeway Shopping center that contains many things to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Every first Saturday of the month Kapaa town gets flooded with people from all over the island bringing in their arts and crafts, music and food. It's a fun way to get out and see Kapaa at night. You can ride your bike from the apartment up the path and beat the parking crunch. We are close to many hiking trails, like Sleeping Giant, Moalepe Trail, Ahukini Trail and others. For cycling or running enthusiasts we can definitely offer you many routes to bike or run straight from the apartment or a short drive to the location. The Hindu Temple, Buddist Temple and many others churches are very close by. Lydgate Park offers a safe snorkeling and swimming environment for kids as well as a large playground area. You can also walk, bike, run or walk Lydgate area and it's a 10 minute drive from this location. There are numerous restaurants from local food to sushi to Thai to Mexican at very short distances as well. This property was where we originally started our real estate business. As the years passed and the building began to succumb to the ocean elements we always envisioned making the entire building look nice again. When it came up for sale we decided to take on the endeavor.

What makes this apartment unique

We live in Kapaa town and love everything about it. It's close to everything and has some great beaches with not that many people. You can always manage to find the perfect little spot. We love the path. We run, and bike it many times during the week. You just can't beat exercising next to the ocean. There are so many different types of restaurants nearby and that is such a plus for us. This property is unique in that it is located above a small strip mall but it's like you get a piece of the slow moving island scene and a bit of the fun that happens downtown.

spacious Kapaa unit

We stayed for 6 nights in Feb. 2017 & enjoyed the spaciousness of this two bedroom unit.It came well equipped with full fridge & stove, microwave & toaster. There is no laundry but a public laundromat is nearby. Yes, noise can be a problem not so much the traffic but cleanup

from the restaurants can go on till 11p.m. Right behind is an industrial building & that + garbage trucks start early. Ceiling fans & windows worked well for cooling. We tried the queen sized bed but found it far too soft & squishy but the twin beds proved much firmer so we used them. There are stairs up to a solid deck in front of the three apartments. Lots to look at from the deck with a steady flow of cars along the highway & in & out of the small strip mall where the building is located. A glimpse of the ocean can be seen above the roofs

across the road as it is only a short block away. The unit would be suitable for couples, couple with a baby & families with teenagers.

Wonderful visit to beautiful island

The apartment was great!! Well furnished and full of amenities. For the reviews that are complaining about the noise, we never even noticed it and we had the windows open the entire time we were there. The view out of the kitchen window was outstanding, love looking at the mountains when I am eating my breakfast. It was really nice having the beach chairs furnished, we took them down to the beach everyday. We also loved how close we were to Kapaa, the little shops there are really great to explore and spend the day. Finally, you have to try the taco joint down below, it is one of the reasons we chose this spot.

Condo was nice

We thought the condo was nice and newly renovated but it can be noisy at night until 9pm because of the restaurants below it. Kapaa is a very busy area at times and it can be a pain to pull out of the complex as well as finding a parking spot by the condo if you come back at night. Also the condo is farther from the beach than indicated in the description. Their is also an iron with no ironing board which we thought was weird. Overall, we thought the condo offered a good value for the money but we would probably stay in a quieter area next time.

Not Very Hospitable. Cockroaches INSIDE the Coffee

The location of the condo was great. but there were some downfalls:

1-TV didn’t work and when we notified Lorren (the owner) he was condescending and not very helpful.

2- There’s no washer/dryer in the property. essential when doing a lot of missy activities.

3-the temperature inside the apartment was HOTER than the outside. we spent most of our time on the patio to cool a bit.

4-The coffee machine had three live cockroaches INSIDE the water tank level indicator!! we have been drinking from it through our whole stay!!!. and when we informed Lorren he said “this is not good we had just purchased that” he didn’t even apologize or offer any kind of compensation.

the overall attitude of the owner was not very hospitable. He didn’t respond to all of our question in one of our emails even if he did respond it wasn’t very helpful.

Owner's Response: Sadly this guest wanted a discount prior to booking. I should of told her we were booked. The 50" flat screen works perfect she had changed the source button, I tried to walk her thru the process and now she complains? This guest should of stayed at a 5 star hotel but did not want to spend the money. On her last day I get a text that there are crickets the the coffee maker, my reply was that's not good we just purchased that machine. The machine was only 2 weeks old. We do live in the tropics, bugs do fly in from time to time. We have all our units sprayed for pests by a local pest control company. 99% of guests have no problems. To give us 1 star is laughable. As you can see the lowest we have ever been issued is 4 stars. I am always avilible and love to give guests ideas as to what to do or where to eat. You can't please them all, my goal is that guest feel comfortable in our units I'm sure this guest was happy other than the coffee maker problem, we changed the machine the day we where told.
