Property description

Our cabin is a super cute renovation, with one downstairs bedroom and an upstairs loft. The kitchen is newly renovated with granite counter-tops and new cabinets. The bath is also newly tiled and everything has new paint and new flooring, blinds and furniture.

The styling is adorable with original exposed wood, brick, vaulted ceilings and an efficient use of space.

The cabin is located on the far West side of the city of South Lake Tahoe, with city services, but closest to Camp Richardson, Fallen Leaf Lake and the best National Park Service Beaches on Lake Tahoe: Pope, Baldwin and Kiva Beach.

The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and a generous closet. This bedroom and the cabin bathroom can be closed off from the front room by a sliding barn style door. The bathroom is a full bath with high shower and tub, located right by the water heater, the water pressure is great and hot water is quick to arrive.

Upstairs, in the sleeping loft, we have a standard (double twin) sized bunk bed and the center ceiling height is well over 9 feet high. This loft area is approximately 200 square feet.

The main living area downstairs has two fold down Sealy couches that can work as extra beds. There's table seating for 4 and a full kitchen with microwave, petite gas range and a 10 cubic foot refrigerator. The entire downstairs area, including the bedroom, is approximately 400 square feet.

The cabin was set up with a large family in mind. A couple with up to 4 kids (total of 6 people) could stay pretty comfortably, but 4 adults might be a comfortable max occupancy as well.

The cabin has a generous back yard for private use, with many mature and beautiful trees and open space. However, the unit is a back house, with another house facing the street. The neighbors also share (have an easement to use) our driveway, so parking is limited. There is space for two cars, one in the private carport and another space right in front of the cabin.
