About Jason McClure
Jason first moved to the Nantahala river gorge in 2001 it was there he met Kara. In 2005 they finished construction on their house, and in 2006 Kara relocated full time to NC. They have lived year round in Bryson City since 2006 until recently when they relocated just down the road to Asheville. Enjoyed our stay very much! The house was extremely nice and very clean! Had all the amenities you would need while away from home. Great location! Look forward to returning for another vacation! The owners were great to work with as well!
Beautiful property! The location was remote enough for privacy, yet relatively close to town.
We all enjoyed our stay at the McClure’s home. The house is beautiful and clean!
This was my very first trip to the mountains and I must say that it was "simply amazing". When we turned off the road leading into the property, everyone was a little weary due to the amount of trees surrounding it. Once we realized we were only a short distance from the highway we were at ease. When we entered the cabin we were in complete awe. The place was way more than we expected. It was absolutely beautiful. If I ever decide to visit the area again I would love to stay in the same location.
Perfect location with everything we needed!
Such a beautiful cabin with an amazing view of the forest! Great deck for conversation and BBQing. Kitchens stocked with everything we needed. The owner really utilized the open concept floor plan and the square footage. Great sound system on the tv! And that double shower is life goals!
The cabin is in a great location. It is as pretty as in the pictures. A great home away from home.
Our family enjoyed NOC rafting, hiking in Deep Creek, Bryson City and Cherokee Play "Unto these Hills". A great secret swimming hole off of 28N. A place to rent paddle boards from Bryson City Outfitters. This is a place we'd highly recommend.
The home is beautiful. The back porch is a lovely place to start your day!
We always enjoy our visits to Bryson City and Nantahala. This home is beautiful and a nice location to experience the area. We had no contact information with the owners other than email and there was no # to contact them in case of problems. The microwave was difficult to figure out and stopped heating the last 2 days of our stay and the light over stove was burnt out making it difficult to see how to set the oven. The furniture was comfortable, especially the master bed. There is only seating the in family room area for 4 and seating for 4 downstairs. We were notified the day of our arrival via email to keep food of counters and at night due to mice. We had 3 mice sightings despite keeping food up. Hopefully the owner will will be able to find where they are entering and keep them out in the future because the house is very beautiful and clean!
Thanks for the review. We actually didn't know the microwave was not working until the next rental.
Also the paper work that we sent prior to your rental has two phone numbers on it that we can be reached at anytime.
Glad you enjoyed your stay.
