Owner's Response: We enjoyed meeting you both and having you share our piece of heaven in the Blue Ridge Mts. Thanks for bringing the unexpected good weather while you were here. The rains returned shortly after you left. Come back when you can. There are a number of very special hikes in Grayson Highlands State Park, that you did not explore and await your return. SnL

Absolutely wonderful!!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful place over 4th of July weekend and didn't want to leave!

The accommodations are spacious, comfortable, and private, with a wonderful king bed and plentiful windows from which to enjoy the fresh mountain breezes.

Scott and Loren are clearly people who appreciate beautiful things, as the landscaping and decor of their home and guest house clearly state. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

The gardens are extensive and the flowers are beautiful. This is a perfect place for a quiet getaway to enjoy nature, eat delicious food, and relax. There is plenty to do for the more adventurous types too! Within a 20 minute drive, we visited Grayson Highlands State Park with beautiful views and wild ponies, went kayaking on the New River, and visited the wonderful Mt. Vale winery. There are also several trails to explore on Scott and Loren's 70+ acres.

In short, this was an absolutely wonderful trip that went by entirely too quickly! We will definitely be back, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this spot to others seeking a getaway!
