Historic Charleston home central to most everything

  • 4 of 5

One of the homes' charms is the 'Charleston lean'. A marked 5 degree lean of the long walls of the home was a little scary to walk in, but once I learned that many of the old buildings also had a lean, it added to the charm of the place. Nice to have designated parking. Neighborhood restaurants and bars a quick walk away.

The house was just as depicted in the pictures. It was very conveniently located to a lot of the restaurants on King Street. Property Manager and Owner were very attentive to our needs.

Quirky home in a good location!

  • 5 of 5

I recently stayed here with 7 other people for a 3 night trip to Charleston. We had a blast! It was easy to get around by car and we walked to a few places to eat lunch. It was great not being in the busy downtown area but still being able to get there with a short drive or a long walk. We were a group of 8 women and are used to staying in close quarters but this place was a bit of a stretch for all of us to fit. The pullout couch might leave some marks but I was told the bedroom beds were all comfortable! We used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner and found it stocked with enough cooking essentials that we could easily skip going out to dinner and stay in and cook an quick meal. They even had a few spices in the cabinet!

Overall we had a great trip. If you're prone to motion sickness, the slanting walls might cause you some nausea. The check in and out processes were very easy and the owners were quick with responses about questions.

Great house and location!

  • 5 of 5

I rented this house for a bachelorette weekend with 6 girls. It was perfect for us - great location in walking distance to bars and restaurants, and the perfect size for our group. It was clean and updated, and very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is larger than it looks in the pictures - plenty of space for several of us to cook in the kitchen together. Bedrooms and bathrooms were also clean and updated with plenty of space for our things. The house manager was easy to get in contact with and very responsive to all of my questions prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this house!

Quaint & Cute - definition of southern charm

  • 5 of 5

Great place for a bachelorette party. Stocked with everything we needed for out of town travelers. Cute and close enough to walk to King Street.

Convenient to downtown!

  • 3 of 5

Older home with slanted walls was not a problem and the updated kitchen was great. However, the house needs a good cleaning and different window treatments. Fans and window sills had layers of dust. The bamboo shades did not fit and provided no privacy. The shrubs also need trimming since my van was scratched with each entry and exit. Despite the issues, we enjoyed our stay. Upstairs apartment was a little annoying with lots of normal noises easily heard in our downstairs apartment.
