This is located in the physical center of Paris next to the Les Halles park. The Quarter Montorgueil is actually a village within the center of Paris. It's a pedestrian only area with a daily open air market street. It has over 50 cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating so it is superb for people watching. Museums, shopping, entertainment and just strolling in Les Halles Park or the Tuileries are all within walking distance. The Blue Marble bicycle rental place is 1/2 block away from the apartment at 11 rue Tiquetonne.
Other Activities: Every morning we jog through the Tuilieres to the Place de la Concorde and back, 4 miles. Lots of people watching on the way. Picking up the Herald Tribune and breakfast rolls happens. Walk to the Louvre or the Pompidou Museum. Drink coffee, watch people, shop the many boutiques, sit in the sun and have a beer and watch more people. Take long nap before going out at night for dinner. Go late, very late, to really see Paris at night. Have dinner after 10 p.m. Across the street from the apartment, Babylon Bis opens from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and it's not a night club. Just another restaurant. Ask for my 'Welcome attachment' for more places to go.

About the owner: I was born in Chicago but grew up in a small resort town on Lake Michigan and my wife Barbara is from Ohio. We love world class cities and reside in San Francisco where Barbara owns a greeting card store, Avant Card. I'm a general dentist in downtown SF.
Why the Owner Chose Bonne-Nouvelle, Paris, France:
Because I support the concept of intelligent urban design, I decided to add my money where my mouth is. So I bought an apartment in what I and thousands of French people feel is the quarter in Paris that best exemplifies the future of all world class cities. Less and less cars and a return to the streets for the people.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Relaxation! Everything you could desire is within a 6 block radius. 80+ restaurants and cafes, outdoor food market every day, great night life including some all night clubs and a Metro stop only 2 blocks away.
