One bedroom, second floor with views of the surf break across the street
Second floor 1 bedroom condo overlooking the pool and hot tub. Ocean and palm tree views from the veranda. Three surf breaks in sight, one is across the street. Islas Marietas National Park just off shore.
The condo is quite safe with 24/7 gated security. Special board storage next to tennis court. Golf is convenient as the Four Seasons Resort is across the other street.
Punta Mita is more like a village than a town. Plenty of fine beachside restaurants and 'locals' family restaurants. Plenty of English is spoken but its nice if you practice your Spanish.
No wetsuits, 7 surf breaks, no crowds.

About Glenn Vitucci
I just purchased this and have already replaced the refrigerator, did a deep cleaning, reupholstered the sofa and chairs. I'll be using this place a lot so I want to be proud to rent it out to others. I've been a ski guide in the Tetons for over 30 years so I'm ready for a little heat in Mexico.
Glenn Vitucci purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Glenn Vitucci chose Punta de Mita
I've always wanted to live on the beach where the water is warm and the surf good. One of the main reasons I bought here was because its easy to get to. Fly into Puerto Vallarta, walk across the street, wait 10 minutes for the bus that says Punta Mita, pay 26 pesos ($2) enjoy the 40 minute ride to the end of the line at Punta de Mita, walk 1/2 block to the condo, grab a board, walk across the street and paddle out!
Pool / Spa
Glenn's condo was a real pleasure ! It was well equipped and very clean. We loved it!
This property was very well taken care of. Very clean and the grounds were kept immaculate , every tree and bush was neatly trimmed to look beautiful. So looking out onto the awesome pool and hot tub from the balcony with the ocean in the background was a real treat.
We had no problems at all finding everything we needed. And the guards and staff were extremely helpful with any questions or directions we had.
We had a great vacation and would not hesitate to rent from Glenn again in the future.
Great location, clean, close to the beach and overall property was well maintained and easy to access.
Great Views, Location & Community
We loved this condo complex - it is very well located, quiet and safe. All of the people staying here were really friendly and we enjoyed chatting with folks at the pool. Glen's balcony has beautiful expansive views of the water, sunrise and sunset. You can easily walk to beachside restaurants and the longer stretch of sandy beach to the east. The unit totally met our needs (we are a small family of 3). We liked the loud A/C because it drowned out any noise at night (people are quiet but there can be bird and street noise). The condo security and staff were very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a luxurious unit, this one is not it but we were totally happy with it as it is basic, clean and well priced. The apple TV is a huge plus! Be sure to check out the wine bar, new pizza place behind wine bar, and NAEF for quiche and ice cream. We also recommend doing a boat ride and heading up to the thursday market in la penita. Glen was very responsive and we would recommend this unit.
Good times in Mexico...
Great spot at a great price. Interactions with the owner in booking and the staff upon arrival were easy and quick. The condo itself is on a bluff across the street from the beach, but a private bridge drops you off at the beach. The unit itself was surprisingly cool most of the day/night amidst the heat outside.
Came down for surfing, but not much in the way of waves. Note that the spots right in front of the unit, El Anclote and Stinky's, are sheltered and only get going when it is big everywhere else. Find La Lancha, El Faro and San Pancho for more consistent surf.
Also, the taxi from the airport is around $70. The bus is $2. If you taxi, you may as well rent a car. After a few days in Punta de Mita you will want to explore. There is a National car rental across the street from the unit, and a 27 hour rental was around $65 (make sure you get a quote in pesos) with all of the insurance etc. Also, you can rent in Punta de Mita and drop off at the airport. Nice to explore the coast north to Sayulita, San Francisco, Lo de Marcos etc.
Great times in Punta de Mita!
Great Value for Price!
The unit was cute, comfortable and absolutely adequate to meet our needs. The price was right, and the owner was very accommodating. The building location is close to everything, and the unit has an ocean view. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and, although we didn't have time to use them, the surf boards are a very nice touch!
Our only complaint was that the dishes were a bit tired, but I would absolutely stay here again.
Thanks Kimberley. I'm fixing it up step by step. Shower floor is next. Then kitchen. But I can give new life to the dinnerware pronto.
Surfer's Paradise met my expectations
Our experience at Glenn's VRBO was fantastic. He made it simple to book and got back to us immediately with the dates we wanted. We were able to do all of the things we planned right from his condo without the need of a car. He informed to buy groceries at the Mega Store before arriving in Punta Mita because food variety was limited. Lisa and I cooked most of the time and the kitchen was more than sufficient to meet our needs. We discovered the locals cooking BBQ chicken a few blocks behind our spot on Saturdays. It was so good I returned the following weekend. There is a laundromat on the same block as the chicken vendors. I slept well in the comfortable king sized bed, while Lisa took the fold out couch which she said was totally fine. The nights were quiet and peaceful and I always felt secure as there is a security guard at the gate 24/7. You can see town from the balcony consisting of a handful of restaurants, pharmacies, little boutiques, fishing adventures or surf lesson shops. Glenn has two soft top boards for your use. The condo looks right at El Anclote beach where the beginner, mellow waves are. The surf culture in Punta Mita is much friendlier than the dog eat dog world of California! Every day there is a man in his pickup selling coconuts. If you listen from the balcony you can hear his announcement. He will cut it open and stick a straw in it....so refreshing. We walked down the hill and grabbed a boat that took us to the Marieta Islands, a nature preserve, for snorkeling and beautiful scenery. One of my favorite things to do was head to the beach in the evenings and watch the fishermen throw their nets into the waves and catch fish. If your lucky you can buy a fresh caught one. There are nearby places to venture a bus ride away. Saulita is 25 minutes, has loads of restaurants, an active night life, shopping and gringos, if that's your thing. The night market is in Bucerias is great and has booths with traditional art and a variety of Mexican cusine. If your into orchids the Puerta Vallarta Botanical Gardens are just south of P.V. We also took the bus to San Pacho which was a quiet beach, worth the trip. All of that right from the condo. Overall we had a fantastic vacation at Glenn's VRBO. I hope to return again in the near future.
