This is a 2 level loft located in Vancouver's West End, just a short walk to English Bay, the Sea Wall, Stanley Park, Davie Street, Denman Street and Robson Street.

There are 2 beds, 1 King bed on the upper level and 1 Queen Bed on the lower level, so will sleep up to 4 guests.

It is important to note that the lower level is fully open to the upper level above (this is an open style loft) so the beds are not fully private from each other. Ideal for families traveling together.

The upstairs is a large bedroom area with 1 King Sized Bed.

The balcony has a pleasant view over Comox Street and the buildings of the West End.

Full kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge, stove/oven and microwave.

Bathroom has a bathtub.

We do have a second separate apartment that we rent out in this same building that will sleep 2 (has 1 King Bed), so if you are travelling with more than 4, please inquire as to wether both suites are available during your travel dates. Convenient location

Positive:

1. Central location

2. Tasty interior

3. Friendly landlord

4. Flat has been well maintained and presents well (wouldn't call it full renovation, i.e. bath)

Negative:

1. All open space and the fridge is very noisy which didn't help the sleep.

2. Dishwasher inconvenient - needs to be pushed in front of fridge and plugged to the tap and wall socket.

3. The house is old and supposed to undergo renovation/upgrade which is really required.

4. For that too expensive.

Still overall a positive experience mainly due to the fantastic, central location.

Comfy and convenient place

Well equipped and very good, quiet location. Easy access to Stanley Park, bike rentals, beaches and also convenient to grocery store, restaurants and other shops. Beds were comfortable and in the good weather we had, the small deck was a welcome extra. The arrangements were also handled very efficiently so it was easy to get in and easy at departure.

Location is Perfect

OK, I will admit we were a little taken aback by the outside of the building. Get past that and you will enter a perfect retreat from an all day touring of Vancouver. The loft bed was the most comfortable of all the beds we had stayed in on our vacation of 16 days. The deck was a very comfortable place to unwind with a glass of wine and listen to the children playing in the schoolyard nearby. The kitchen was well stocked although we couldn't get the toaster oven to work, small sacrifice. We walked 10 mins. to English Bay, 15 mins. to Spokes Bike rental for an afternoon of biking through Stanley Park. If you love Korean BBQ don't miss Damos just a 10 min. walk. Tavola is especially wonderful italian food. We took the water taxi by the Aqua center to Granville Island Market that was a great place to get lost in. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay in Vancouver

We really enjoyed our stay at Alberto's unit which was in a quiet neighborhood but well within walking distance to downtown and all it has to offer. There are restaurants and other amenities only minutes away. We loved the Greenhorn coffee shop. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Alberto was easy to reach and very helpful with our requests. Now that we know what to expect, we would stay there again.

Great place to stay in English Bay area

The unit was very clean upon our arrival. The king loft bed was very comfortable. Very relaxing place to stay for a few days or a few months. We just loved our stay. Would come back again. John & Linda

Comfy, clean, serene!

A wonderful place to stay. Quiet street in a nice neighborhood, yet 2 blocks away are loads of neat little restaurants of all ethnicities, shops, grocery stores. Stanley Park is right at the end of the street. Just a 15-minute walk to Robson Street/downtown, and only a bit further to the Granville Island ferry or the aquarium. Alberto (owner) and Jacob (his assistant) were very responsive and provided helpful info on activities, buses, dining, etc. The loft is up 2 flights of stairs, so may not appeal to anyone who can't manage that, but it suited us perfectly and we'd definitely stay there again!
