Overview

About the property

Brand New listing! Conveniently located, view one bedroom. Easy access to all!

Queen Anne is a magical neighborhood and the best place for exploring Seattle and the surrounding area. Just on the Northern edge of downtown, Queen Anne rises above the city and offers some of the most iconic views of the Seattle skyline, mountains and waterways. From our apartment you have a stunning view of Lake Union where you can watch seaplanes thread through boats as they come in to land or the well-known ‘Duck Dodge’ sailboat race on Tuesday nights.

The apartment is within walking distance of “The Ave” where you can find 10 blocks lined with restaurants, shops and services. Funky pubs sit next to local coffee shops who duel it out on nearly every corner. Some of the best Mexican, Thai and Pacific Northwest cuisine are available right in our neighborhood.

Downtown Seattle is easily accessed either by car, foot or bus. The apartment is 2 short blocks from a main bus line with downtown access. If you’d prefer, you can walk to the Seattle Center and catch the Monorail which will bring you right to the heart of the downtown retail core. Walking to the Gates Foundation (10 blocks) or Amazon is very possible – just remember it’s easier going down than up!

The apartment is on the top floor of a quiet tri-plex located on the picturesque and historic Queen Anne Boulevard. This pedestrian highway rings the top of the hill with a 3 mile walk through the beautiful neighborhood and past iconic viewpoints that include two mountain ranges, Lake Union, the Puget Sound and of course the city skyline.

The apartment was recently renovated and features a comfortable Queen size bed, luxury linens, and a fully equipped kitchen.

We look forward to hosting you - we are native Seattleites and have lived in the neighborhood for 25 years. We love to share our great city and our even better neighborhood with visitors.

Ten minutes from downtown Seattle. Very nice apartment. No AC, but didn't need it while we were there... very comfortable. Great neighborhood with great view. Easy parking.

Mildew & hot

  • 2 of 5

While the living area & furniture were adequate, the space always had a definite smell of mildew. Furthermore the unit is on the second floor. On 2 of the days the outside temp was 85+ degrees. That translated into indoor temps in excess of 88 degrees. No A/C . Only a tall floor fan. It finally cooled off around midnight of each evening.

Owner's Response: Hi Robert - I am sorry that your stay wasn't as expected due to the warm weather. We do not advertise that we have air conditioning in the unit and it is unfortunate that you expected it. Seattle is fairly temperate and very few residential properties here do have A/C. I wish you had let us know during your stay so that we could have worked to get you more comfortable. There was an additional fan in the unit that you could have used, I went over today and checked the unit myself to make sure that the fans were all there and operational. Between the two fans, the ceiling fan in the bedroom and keeping the window coverings pulled when out during the day, we have found that guests can stay comfortable even in warm temperatures. We will make a better effort to communicate that to future travelers. Best - Alys

Gorgeous view of Lake Union from a window filled top floor aerie

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this wonderful Queen Anne abode. On our last visit we stayed in the bottom unit which had a wonderful garden outside. This time we stayed on the upper floor unit and was greeted with beautiful views from the many large windows available. One could also see part of the Space Needle from the kitchen window. The kitchen was well appointed and the living room had comfortable furniture, a nice big TV and several books available to read (which we did!). The only thing lacking was a door on the bedroom which only caused a problem when my husband wanted to sleep and I wanted to watch some late night TV.

The location of this abode is fantastic. We loved our daily walks to Queen Anne Blvd. where we dined at our favorite restaurants (the 5 spot, La Reve Bakery) and picked up essentials from Trader Joes and Safeway. We also were able to walk to the Museum of History and Industry which is located at the foot of Lake Union. This walk entailed many stairs but then we didn't have to go to the gym that day. Queen Anne is a gem with all the lovely house gardens to be seen. Thank you Ginger and Alys for providing such wonderful accomodations on our visits to Seattle
