Wailea Ekahi 28A is a stunning, spacious, fully-renovated ground-floor two-bedroom/two-bathroom vacation condominium in the prestigious Wailea resort area on the sunny side of Maui. It’s located in one of the best locations within Ekahi Village near the front of the complex with beautiful views of the ocean and one of the pools. 28A is a spacious corner unit quietly located away from any main roads and opens to a large green space off the two front lanais. This condo is a close three-minute walk to the beach and main pool/pavilion area, and has immediate access to a pool and paddle courts right in front of the unit.
The unit has undergone a major high-end designer renovation, which created a beautiful and spacious open-concept design with all the modern touches. The unit is modern and bright but with the soothing colors of the beach… perfect for a relaxing vacation retreat! There are beautiful views of the ocean/pool throughout this unit, with the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, main lanai and master bedroom lanai all facing the water. The unit is a gorgeous blend of upscale materials and relaxing design, making it a premiere vacation rental unit in Ekahi Village.
The luxurious master bedroom features a king bed, privacy curtains, a private bathroom/walk-in shower and a private lanai facing the ocean. The second bedroom features two queen beds, privacy curtains, a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a private garden lanai. The kitchen features quality stainless-steel appliances, great dishes/flatware/cooking utensils, a quartz breakfast counter and a large dining table in the dining area. The living room features a large comfortable sectional sofa and chair and a fantastic entertainment system, including a 60” UHD 4K Smart TV, Apple TV, universal Blu-ray/DVD/CD player, cable TV, Netflix and NAD/Cambridge stereo system. There are also UHD 4K Smart TVs with Netflix in each of the bedrooms. The main lanai features a large dining table and large Weber barbecue, while the master lanai features comfortable lounge chairs for relaxing, reading, or socializing; both lanais also have ceiling fans installed for added comfort. The unit is air-conditioned throughout, but 28A is naturally a cooler/more comfortable unit because it’s on the ground floor; we rarely use the AC ourselves and prefer the ocean breezes. A full-sized washer/dryer, two safes, and an extra-capacity hot water tank, so you’ll never run out of hot water, are also installed in the unit. For added privacy, we even installed a soundproof ceiling, making this a very quiet unit. Nothing was left untouched in this beautiful high-end renovation!
The condo is well-appointed with all the modern touches and necessary items for a relaxing holiday, including a cooler, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach chairs, and sand and pool toys. The unit is perfect for families and couples alike, and we’re set up for kids with beach toys, a playpen that can also substitute for a crib, a high-chair and games. We also have wireless Internet and a telephone with free local and long-distance calling to the US and Canada.
Ekahi Village, known for its beautiful landscaped gardens and spacious grounds, is located on 34 acres of lush surroundings and includes four swimming pools, a beachfront pavilion, paddle courts, shuffleboard and direct gated access to the famously beautiful Keawakapu Beach. Ekahi Village is a short walk from The Shops at Wailea, an upscale shopping and dining area, and minutes from championship golf, tennis and other world-famous beaches.

We’re Michelle & George Gramatke from Calgary, Canada and are owners of three Ekahi Village condos (28A, 21B and 6C). We love Ekahi Village for its beautifully landscaped and spacious grounds, and excellent beachfront location in sunny Wailea. All our condos are well situated within Ekahi Village, close to the beach/main pool and the many amenities the condominium complex has to offer. We particularly like 28A for its quiet location, beautiful views, gorgeous upscale renovation and close proximity to the beach and two pools. We make every effort to offer first-rate vacation rental accommodations on Maui, especially with our attention to detail, and we promise our guests a wonderful holiday experience!

Ekahi Village is located within the most preferable climate zone on Maui: the temperatures are perfect, the sun shines almost all the time, and the rainfall is minimal. Ekahi Village boasts an outstanding beachfront location with beautiful landscaped gardens on spacious 34 acre grounds, and the complex has excellent amenities such as four swimming pools, a beachfront pavilion (with Wi-Fi), paddle courts and direct gated access to world-famous Keawakapu Beach. There’s easy access to Wailea, Makena, Kihei and the airport at Kahului. As well, located just a short stroll down the beach are several excellent resorts for dining or visiting, including the Grand Wailea, the Marriott Maui Resort & Spa, the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui Resort and the Andaz, Maui. These resorts are easily accessible in a few minutes by car or, better yet, from a beautiful oceanfront boardwalk trail which starts on the beach very near to Ekahi Village. In the other direction, Kihei with its quaint restaurants and shops, a beachside yoga studio nearby, and paddle-boarding and surfing on its great beaches is also only a short walk away along the shorefront. It only takes a few minutes to get to one of several fine golf courses in the area and the nearby restaurants serve every budget and appetite. There are also a wide variety of supermarkets available, from Costco to Safeway to Whole Foods, amongst others, so you can cook in any time you like. All that doesn’t even begin to describe all the great things you can do during the day from this outstanding South Maui location!

Great Condo, Great location in Wailea!
Thank you Michelle for providing a well appointed vacation condo in Wailea! Our family loved our stay here. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals during our stay, we even used the BBQ! The beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards were great to take on our excursions to the beaches as well as the road to Hana! Your condo definitely made our stay in Maui feel like our home away from home!

Perfect Wailea get away
We just returned from a wonderful stay at Ekahi 28A. The owners have done a beautiful job of remodeling the condo into a resort-like accommodation. The large, well-stocked kitchen has easy access to two patios, as well as a lovely living area. Both bedrooms are spacious, and are done in a restful decor.
The Ekahi Resort is within easy walking distance to both the ocean as well as the Wailea resorts.
The owner was very responsive to every question and sent perfectly detailed descriptions of check-in and suggestions for restaurants and activities.
We highly recommend this unit and hope to be back again soon.
The condo was beautiful and in a great location! Everything was new, modern and clean. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay in Maui.
Above and beyond condo in Wailea paradise
So many positive things about this gorgeously updated and well equiped condo. The finishes of the remodel are gorgeous and make you feel like you are in a modern hotel but the well stocked kitchen allows you to cook meals. The location is perfect-we ran in the morning to Kehei and also the other way through Wailea. We had happy hour at the Andaz-a 3 min beach walk. The kids loved the pavillion pool and we loved the convenience of the ice machines down by the pool and beach. The condo has all the beach/pool items you could ever need. It is located on the first floor so the kids could play on the grass while we bbq’ed. It is also right next to another pool and pickleball court. Lastly the owner Michelle was so available via email during our stay and promptly replied to any questions we had. Overall could not have asked for a better experience, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo has had a stunning remodel, modern and comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly stocked, anything we needed. Although did have to clean some some things before using them. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. We loved our stay here and would recommend and stay there again!

All fees are subject to 14.42% Hawaiian sales tax. (Hawaii Tax IDs: TA-121-034-1376-01 and GE-121-034-1376-01) A cleaning charge of $250 plus tax will be added for stays of less than 7 nights and is not included in the initial quote on VRBO Book It. Three and four night stays will be considered only if there are three or four days of availability between other bookings. We encourage and take preference of stays of five or more nights. A deposit of 25% of the total rental cost plus tax is due on booking, with the remaining 75% plus $500 damage deposit due 60 days prior to arrival. If booking within 60 days of arrival, 100% of the total rental cost plus $500 damage deposit is due at time of booking. A booking is not confirmed until the booking/rental agreement is completed by the guests, accepted by us, and the required deposit has been received. Cancellation policy: Full refund of rental deposit, less the cost of one night’s stay plus tax, if cancelled at least 60 days prior to arrival date. Please note that the VRBO/HomeAway service fee is administered directly by VRBO/HomeAway and is not refundable.
