My goal has always been for my Guests to experience the sense of having arrived ‘home’ when they walk through the front the door---to feel as comfortable and relaxed here in Chicago as they do their own home.

The Guest House on Lakewood Avenue has three apartments, each floor can be rented separately or rent them together for larger gatherings--up to 21.

It's great to all be under one roof, without being on top of one another--the three separate spaces offer privacy when you need it.

And best of all--the little piece of nature outside the back door. The garden is private & peaceful--perfect place to decompress, relax and enjoy.

A Great apartment in a great area!!!

This was one of our best vacations. The apartment was great with that "Old World Feeling". We had everything we could possibly need as far as towels, kitchenware, TV, free internet, air conditioning, the works. Parking is always an issue, especially in this area, but Teri had a 2 car garage, plus an additional parking spot, plus passes for street parking so parking was not an issue. The location was excellent, just a 5-10 minute walk to Wrigley Field and the great bars and restaurants around Wrigley. BTW parking for the games we went to was $40. If you're new to Chicago I would say the north side is where you want to stay. You're just a short Uber ride (or train ride) to Downtown, Michigan Ave, Rush Street, Old Town, Lincoln Park, and many other great areas in the City. We also had the pleasure of meeting Teri and she was awesome. Her communication was excellent. We will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this apartment for any trip you might make to Chicago.

Excellent Property! We (several colleagues and myself) were in town for a meeting and rented two units (8 bedrooms) in the same building. Everything about our experience was fantastic - from beginning to end. The rental process was simple - Teri answered all questions promptly and all information was received in a timely manner. The property was exactly as promised. The house was clean and modern, tasteful decor, bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen well appointed. The backyard and front porch were fantastic places to relax! The metro was very close. Very easy to get downtown for our meeting. The area itself was close to Wrigley field and numerous bars and restaurants were steps away. The local pub (Guthrie's) is just 2 blocks down the street and Southport was only a couple of blocks away and Wrigleyville a few blocks in the other direction. No shortage of things to do, places to eat, or grab a cold one!

I would highly recommend this place. We have stayed in many vacation rentals for meetings and this, by far, was the best one yet.

Absolutely perfect!

I can't fault this accommodation. It seriously had everything in the cupboards and drawers that you would have in your own house! The photos are a true representation of what you get. It's in a great location. Beds were comfortable. We used Uber with ease to get around. We would definitely stay here again if in Chicago and highly recommend it to others.

"I left my chewing gum on the bedpost overnight!"

At this lovely and cozy guest house three blocks from Wrigley Field in Chicago. Teri, the owner of this incomparable property, honestly and unselfishly helped us find lodging at the 11th hour. Teri's home exudes warmth and charm, class and concern for the extreme comfort and well being of her guests. It's typically the little things(way too many to enumerate here) that show weather or not an owner truly cares and values your patronage. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Teri and .....Go Cubs!

Super Awesome, Super Sweet! Everything & More!!!

The listing description was very accurate and the place was bigger than what are seen in the photos and what we expected. The location is right in Wrigleyville, a few blocks from Wrigley field, and just 2 blocks from N. Clark Street, the main street of Wrigleyville. The backyard patio is a great place to hang out. I rented a mid-size SUV and it fitted perfectly in the garage, which holds two vehicles. It was so convenient, since I do not have to park on the street.

As I mentioned, the layout is bigger than what is seen in the photos and larger than what we expected. The 3rd floor had two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Everyone was comfortable and space to spread out. My four friends and I were impressed with the amenities and especially the location.

The property is super clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. The property also included a dish washer, washer, and dryer.

Property manager Teri is SUPER AWESOME! I arrived early at 9AM of my check-in day, and she was able to let me open up the property early. The regular check-in time is 3PM. It go without saying, she gave us extraordinary customer service. She was very responsive to our emails, phone calls, and requests.

A big YES! I would definitively recommend this property to my friends or relatives.

Simply, the property is in the heart of Wrigleyville (North side of Chicago) and minutes from downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan. Therefore, you will be minutes from tons of attractions and restaurants. Wrigleyville’s nightlife is just right there, a hop away from the property. I wish we would have stayed a few more days to see other attractions and dine at the famous Chicago eateries.

I would definitively go back and stay here, because of the property manager, Teri, the property, and location!!!

Though you may be tempted to never leave the neighborhood, it would be a shame to miss out on all the city has to offer! Jump on either a Brown or Red Line train--either will take you direct to downtown and all of Chicago's attractions!

Or if you're up to the challenge, walk or ride along the spectacular lakefront to downtown. Divvy Bikes are available in the neighborhood and there is really no better way to really see this amazing city! Ride alongside the beautiful boat filled harbors, and through the lush and colorful gardens of Lincoln Park and while you’re there, catch a glimpse of some of the animals at the zoo. And though it’s only a four mile ride, you may enjoy a little energy break at one of the three beach side bistro's along the way! Once downtown, you can park the bike at any of hundreds of stations throughout the city.
