About Ron Ball
We live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia. After 40 years of marriage, raising three daughters, and blessed by 6 grandchildren, we are able to make a few other dreams come true. We'd like to share our good fortune with others.
Ron Ball purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Ron Ball chose Amelia Island
We stopped in Amelia Island a few years ago for the first time on business. My wife walked out onto the sand and said 'this is it - this may be the place'. Having been married for 37 years, I wasn't sure if I should be excited or scared because once she gets an idea in her head..., well, you know. It is a gorgeous home, the previous owner is an 'in demand' interior designer on the island and we were thrilled with what she's done. She and her husband remodeled the entire place and most importantly 'sound proofed' it. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus and even though we are in our sixties now, we can easily walk there in less than 5 minutes.
What makes this Condo unique
The décor in this home is incredible, the textures, colors all merge so beautifully. Make sure you go to Slider's and sit upstairs and enjoy the ocean breeze and great fried shrimp or a crab cake sandwich. Kids can safely play below, in plain view of the adults. Our condo is city licensed and inspected. This is required by the city of Fernandina Beach...it means you can rest assured that our villa meets city resort safety and accommodation standards. If you stay at an unlicensed vacation rental you could lose many of your vacation rental rights!

Very nice place to relax
The condo was very clean and comfortable. Great location near beach; stores; etc...
Wonderful stay - great Accomodations!
One of our favorite family trips. The condo was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the beautiful screened in porch, comfortable beds and close pool. Excellent location. Will be back!
We enjoyed the town, beach, fort and most of all the home and it's location
Perfect place for Discovering Amelia Island
This two bed two bath condo is impeccably maintained and outfitted exactly as described by the owner. Easy to find and central,to everything yet only minutes to the beach. Although the weather was variable during our stay (chilly to warm) it never interfere with our exploring. We biked, fished, walked the beach and the historic district and explored a bit by car. No surprise that this once hidden gem has been discovered and is attracting more visitors than ever. Still the island is unspoiled enough to be able to kick back or kick it up into, high gear if desired. Amelia Landings is far enough off one of the main thoroughfares to offer the peace and quiet needed after a day of touring about. Nicely landscape and kitted out with a great pool, and tennis courts and outside.(charcoal) grill stations this property will not disappoint and the condo with its unit-long screened in porch with comfy outdoor furniture worked very well for our two couples. Well appointed and tastefully decorated with a main room layout that seems spacious yet cozy at the same time. We will be back.
Perfect location, beautiful place. Look forward to coming back!
My wife and I had a fantastic weekend. The condo was very spacious while still feeling cozy. The patio/deck is unbelievable! We want to come back just to get to spend more time out there.
Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
As advertised + great location.
We enjoyed our week with the bonus of a great location. We lacked for nothing, bringing only two suitcases and some hanging clothes.
Amelia Island and historic downtown Fernandina Beach are delightful. If you've never been here you need to make the effort. The sand is powder white and the ocean can be emerald green and calm and the next dark blue and waves great to body surf on. For history buffs, downtown will capture your interest for sure. So many different types of architecture and add a few consignment shops to search for that ideal gift and you have a huge hit!
