You must remember this: Life is too short not to come spend a weekend, or even a week, at As Time Goes By. The fundamental things apply, so come see all that Savannah has to offer before any more time goes by!

About Denise Flojo
We, Norman and Denise, have been married for 28 years and lived in the suburbs of Philadelphia in Bucks County, PA. We visited Savannah many times over 8 years to spend time with our daughter April who attended SCAD. We loved the history, architecture, arts and culture of this city. The warm winters, friendly people and Southern hospitality brought us here permanently in 2013. Savannah is a great place to pursue our hobbies such as visiting historic sites, antiquing, kayaking, gardening, bicycling and time at the beach. We've made many friends and met interesting people here in Savannah and are blessed to call it our home.
Denise Flojo purchased this House in 2013
Why Denise Flojo chose Beach Institute
We loved visiting Savannah over 8 years prior to moving here in 2013 and experiencing different vacation rental homes in the Downtown Historic and Victorian Districts. Our location in the Landmark Historic District was exactly what we dreamed of finding when we moved to Savannah. We walk and ride our bikes throughout downtown and love our close proximity to Forsyth Park. It is so convenient to be 2 blocks from the only Downtown Grocery store. Purchasing our 2 side-by-side houses made our dream of owning our own vacation rental a reality.
What makes this House unique
Our home has the charms of an old historic house such as heart pine floors and antiques but all the conveniences and modern amenities such as a new bathroom, fully equipped modern kitchen and a beautifully landscaped private deck. Once you have booked your stay at As Time Goes By, we supply you with many links and lists to help you plan your trip to Savannah. We are happy to customize information for your needs and also leave plenty of maps and tour info at the house in the event you don't have the time to plan your trip ahead. Best of all, we are here if you have questions or needs during your stay and are always happy to help you in any way we can.

Charming, Clean and Comfortable.
From the minute we walked into the door, we knew we had made the right decision, choosing the As Time Goes By property. The property was gleaming clean, with necessities like dishwasher soap, shampoo, bath wash, etc. provided. We were three couples, enjoying our first visit to Savannah. This house added such an important element to our visit of such a historic city. It was nice to have the owners right next door if we needed them, which we did not. The back patio was awesome, the weather cooperating spectacularly. We would highly recommend.
Lovely old restored home with character
This home is close enough to walk to many sites and convenient to DOT transit shuttles. Denise was friendly and helpful. Our family was comfortable here and our stay was over all too soon. Tall folks should be advised that the ceiling in the stairwell could be a challenge if you are not paying attention. We are likely to return to As Time Goes By and would recommend it to others!
Very comfortable house for family
The owner of this place is very nice and accommodating. Also, nice to have her living in the other half of the house. The property has plenty of space for a group of 4-6. Nice kitchen facilities.
Loved everything about this place!
We were in Savannah for a college roommate reunion. The house was spotless and we loved how it was decorated. Denise was an amazing host and provided us with all the information we needed for choosing places to go around the city including information on popular restaurants, tours, and sites to see! She even texted us during the weekend to make sure we were aware of some events happening during the weekend. The 3 of us each had our own bedroom which was very nice considering the price of this rental! The home has everything you need in the kitchen and very nice towels and linens. The back patio is a great sitting area! The location is within walking distance to everything but peaceful at night for sleeping. When we return to Savannah we will definitely stay again!
So happy that you had a great reunion weekend! Thanks for your kind words. We welcome you back anytime you visit Savannah!
Everything I hoped for!
Very clean and cute as can be. Liked that it was on outskirt of historic district but easy to walk to some restaurants and shuttle service. We really enjoyed our stay and met Denise the owner the last day. So nice and helpful to suggest areas of interest. Great birthday weekend with the girls!
We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay Pat! We hope you'll return to Savannah, and stay at As Time Goes By again.
