With direct access to the sand and sea, Emerald is located in the brand new, and very upscale Le Papillon complex. Located on the WIDEST part of Simpson Beach, the beach in front of Le Papillon is crystal clear with no rocks, coral or grassy undergrowth. Lush landscaping, complete with palm tress, add to the beauty of the complex with it's tropical breezes and island ambiance.

Emerald is a ground floor, beachfront luxurious 1-bedroom condo with sleek contemporary lines and furnishings. Emerald features everything required to make your vacation memorable and comfortable.

The kitchen is high end with black/gold speckled granite and stainless steel Bosch appliances. Kitchen includes wine cooler, toaster, Wolfgang Puck cookware, dinnerware, flatware, electronic multi cooker, blender, and a selection of spices and seasonings.

The living room's clean contemporary furnishings include a 50' LED TV with Dish satellite, VOIP telephone for free calls to the US and Canada, and a cell phone for local calls.

The bedroom offers a comfortable king bed, LED TV, and beautiful sea views. Bathroom is spacious with a glass shower, and rainfall showerhead.

A large covered terrace with table & chairs is great for outside dining or sipping cocktails watching the sun set on the Caribbean Sea immediately in front of you.

Emerald provides direct walk out access to the sand and sea from the living room, kitchen, and terrace. No stairs to navigate, and no elevators. Great for grabbing a snack or drink while enjoying the beach.

Le Papillon is a private, secure electronic gated complex, and is sound protected with concrete walls, roof, hurricane resistant sliding glass doors and hurricane shutters. Complex provides a video intercom system for added security, and a Generator for island power outages.

If I could do it all again I would stay here

So I am a researcher... An OCD control freak especially when it comes to traveling. I researched and read about 1.5 bajillion reviews of every property on every part of st Martin. I finally booked this one. And let me tell you.... This is the perfect condo! I won the vacay condo lottery!!! First of all... It's like 2 minutes from the airport. You could walk if you didn't have a 100lb luggage bag like me 😳. Second, it's right on the beach! Like open the door and it's RIGHT THeRe! And it comes with multiple beach chairs, noodles, boogie boards. All you need to bring is a snorkel!

About safety, this place has a cement wall around the perimeter, with a gate that opens with a code or a clicker, so your car is safe for sure. Once you're inside you feel like you're in a different world!

What i feel is important to say is that the pictures and reviews do not do it justice. The place is small but so amazing and in the best location. It's so clean and has every cooking utensil you could ever need. We drove all over the island to EVERY beach.... And to Anguilla. This condo is so perfectly placed on Simpson bay... 5 minutes to grocery store.... Walk to eat and shop...walk down a little ways from the condo on the beach and watch the planes land.... And amazingly you don't hear a peep at night! Like silence!!! And I'm a light sleeper and so believe me id tell you.

This place is perfect. SAFE, quiet, prime location. BOOK NOW!!!

Last but not least... Actually the most important part of our stay was the rental agent Jill and the property manager Gordon. Jill made sure our rental car was booked and took care of everything for us. Always responded quickly and made me feel so comfortable. Gordon the property manager came by every day to make sure we were well and told us all about where to go and what to do depending on what we were in the mood for. And did I mention there is a cell phone in the condo to use to call locally!?! Huge life saver!

I feel like I'm forgetting a lot but even now thinking about the trip to st Martin I pat myself on the back for booking this place. Do yourself a favor and be a hero like me and call Jill now!!!

Excellent Stay!!!

My husband and I stayed at Emerald for New Year's week and could not have been more pleased. This was our second trip to SXM but our first stay in Simpson Bay/Le Papillion. The condo has everything you could possibly need and more. Very clean, well stocked, and quiet. We loved the gated entrance and overall security of the property. We rented a car but walked to many restaurants and pharmacies. A car is not a must with this condo. Many mornings/evenings were spent on the private patio listening to the waves crash and watching all the "mega" yachts come in and out of the bay. Jill helped me book the property and was there to answer any/all questions I had. Gordon met us at the condo shortly after we arrived to give us the tour. Great guy!

The pictures do not do this property justice. I highly recommend this condo and would not hesitate to rent it again myself.

Fabulous property

We have been to the island on many trips and stayed all over. This property is the best ever. Great location, great views of all the boat traffic, and quiet. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and all the amenities in the condo. We liked walking access to restaurants and the French bakery. The beach is wonderful as well. The property has everything you need which is not typical of rental properties. We will definitely rebook for next years trip.

Emerald -- Met and Exceeded Expectations that we didn't know we had.

My wife and I stayed at Emerald for our Honeymoon and the accommodations were beyond our expectations. The proximity to the beach and the unit itself was spectacular. We were truly blown away and for both of us who have spent most of our adult lives traveling around the world to be able to say this means a lot. Gordon was wonderful and provided us with so much useful information. This was our first time to St. Marteen and it will not be our last. We are looking to take our kids for a return trip very soon and we will look to stay here again. You will not be disappointed by staying here.

Lovely Place

Our stay at Emerald was beyond our expectations....what a fabulous unit, it was perfect! The decor and fittings made us feel like we were at home and we really wish we could have stayed longer - it truly was a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The proximity to the Simpson beach was ideal and we had 5 days of perfect weather. Both the condo and beach were exactly as described on your website, absolutely beautiful.

Both Jill and Gordon (property manager) were very helpful in organising and planning our short stay. Gordon was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival and helped us settle in quickly. He really was great and gave us lots of tips of where to dine out and shop.

It was sad to leave such a fabulous place but will defintely be visiting again...very soon.

Great Find!

What a great place to stay! Let me start off by saying I am a planner...I do a lot of research before I go places. This vacation was no different. I spent months planning our first vacation in about 10 years and researched over 50 places to stay in St Martin before settling on this place. There are so many great places to stay on the island and I wasn't quite sure I picked the right one.

Let me just say this place was perfect for us! There were neighbors on either side of us that were friendly but not intrusive, a patio that we had a nice sunset dinner on, beach chairs to lounge on the beach with and crystal blue water to admire. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and then some. The pots, pans cutting board, utensils and appliances were all new and clean. Washer and dryer for laundry, clean towels and fresh linens... I think the only thing we didn't find was a broom! There was a VOIP landline phone with a US phone number that we could use to call back home or they could call us in an emergency that although we never used, gave us comfort in knowing we were an easy call away just in case. There was also a local cell phone provided that we could use to call around on the island that we also never used but it was nice to know we had it.

The property manager, Gordon, was helpful but again not intrusive. He showed us how everything worked in the place and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat, told us to call him if we needed anything and then let us enjoy our vacation.

We didn't rent a car for the first 3 days and found it not to be a problem for what we wanted to do, which was get sunburned on the beach and snorkel in the water that was 50 feet from our patio. We walked down Airport Rd for dinners (tons of restaurants there) and did a day Sail trip to Anguilla. The launch place for that was less than a mile away so again we walked to it. Then we rented a car and drove to the French side of the island which was nice to see and they have great restaurants and beaches up there but again for what we were looking for, we could have stayed on the beach at the condo and had just as nice a time. All in all it was a GREAT vacation and GREAT rental place. I almost hesitate writing such a good review for fear this place won't be available next year when we return!
