Across River Tiber, and next to the best designer shopping in town, is this quiet Rome apartment at the top of an elegant building. Two ancient monuments in this very central part of Rome date from the time of Augustus (63 BC – 14 AD), the Mausoleum and the Ara Pacis, but the surroundings are also made up of modern cozy places, as follows. Attic Augusta Terrace House (managed by FromHometoRome) consists of a large living room including a dining table for six, two double bedrooms with private bathrooms, a kitchenette and, last but not at all least, a flowery terrace overlooking the Tiber. The house is equipped with an elevator. The interior is fully air conditioned. The Rome apartment is located at a walking distance from Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Corso. The whole district is well stocked with excellent restaurants, bars, shops and markets, in fact it offers everything you could possibly need for an unforgettable Roman holiday. Attic Augusta Teracce House has been renovated respecting the structural characteristics of the buildings in the city center of Rome, furnished with careful detail and the utmost comfort in mind to guarantee a unique experience and wonderful stay in the city. The bedrooms, in particular, are tastefully decorated. They can sleep up to two couples, or a couple and another pair, because two beds can actually be separated. You can use the washer in the kitchenette to do your laundry, Nespresso to make coffee, and the WiFi to connect the internet.

Amazing central location
We stayed in this lovely apartment two weeks ago. The pictures definitely provide a good look at the home. The top floor of an old building with a working elevator made this a lovely place to call home. The patio area was very welcome and well used.
While we were there the heat was incredible so the air conditioning was well used and greatly appreciated.
If I had one negative comment about the apartment it would be the cooking utensils that were supplied. Two lovely pans did not operate on the stove and there was a definite lack of items ( spatulas, etc.) for use. However there is an abundance of great places to eat right by so it really was not an issue. One of the top 100 restaurants is only 3 blocks away!
The location is perfect. Essentially a $10.00 cab fair to any of the sites or a 30-60 minute walk.
It was perfectly clean, and all amenities were supplied. There was more than enough space for us (four adults).
Thank-you for letting us share in your home.
Perfect Rome respite
I can't imagine a better location for this quiet, tasteful, spotless, spacious apartment. We could walk everywhere, then finish busy tour days with a relaxing glass of wine on the rooftop terrace. Great beds and bathrooms (though it is an attic, so tall people beware). Kitchen facilities are very basic, but no matter -- neighborhood restaurants abound and accommodate all budgets. Perfect for two couples (plenty of room and privacy) or a small family. Our host was prompt and gracious, even providing a temporary fix when WiFi went out in the whole building. Pre-dawn airport transfer worked well. A handy notebook offers recommendations for anything you might need when you're out and about, but we always looked forward to getting "home." Highly recommend.
What an experience!
Fabio's apartment is gorgeous. A wonderful terrace overlooks the river Tiber, with comfortable seats and tidy vegetation. The interior is just like in the pictures on HomeAway. An asset to me, both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, large and equipped. Linen is fresh and clean. Air conditioning works good, especially in summer, and also the Internet is fine. We will get back to Fabio's through FromhomeToRome if we ever visit Rome anew.
