Double sliding glass doors, with insulated curtains, open to the large deck offering great views! A large bedroom with a rustic queen bed set, small bedroom with a twin trundle bed, and a full bath finish this floor. Both bedrooms look out at open space with scattered pine trees. The twin trundle bed is perfect for singles, kids or Grandma.
The top floor is a finished loft bedroom with a walk-in closet and big windows looking out the back across the large greenbelt. We have a new queen bed with a memory foam mattress topper, reading chair and side table in this lovely space. Think morning coffee, curling up to a book, watching the hot air balloons, or enjoying a quiet nap! The loft bathroom filled with sea life decor has double sinks and a Jacuzzi tub.
Our home is tastefully decorated, very comfortable (for just a couple or a larger group) and fills with natural light. It is located in a nice neighborhood on a paved road, with just a short walk to Pagosa Lake or the golf course. Local hiking and biking are very near, as well.
Pedestrian and cyclist friendly neighborhood with easy access to many amenities. Be sure to be looking west in the mornings to catch the hot air balloons afloat! Early evenings are the best time to watch for the deer. Quiet, long-term residents on all sides.

About Cindy Nobles
We are both educators with grown children who enjoy the outdoors, travel and explore. We've spent 29 years calling Colorado our home! For 22 years, we lived full time in Pagosa Springs all in this same neighborhood. It'll always be near and dear to our hearts. We visit as often as we can now. Our passions include: cycling, hiking, traveling, and spending time with our family and our dogs. After booking homes and apartments in various places ourselves over the years and enjoying them much more so than a hotel, we decided to host others in our own home. We hope you'll come to enjoy a stay in our Restful Retreat.
Cindy Nobles purchased this House in 2010
Why Cindy Nobles chose Archuleta County
We purchased our Holiday House in our long-time neighborhood to remodel it and use it as a long-term rental. We had no idea we'd be leaving Pagosa, so now it has become our second home complete with all the comforts. Thank goodness we have it to come back to!
What makes this House unique
Sunsets from the deck are fabulous, especially after a long day of hiking. We, of course, love our neighbors, most of whom we've known for over 29 years! We love our retreat, nicknamed the 'Holiday House', as it's full of natural light, lots of areas to relax whether it be a shady or sunny spot outside, loft chair (my favorite spot for morning coffee) or curled up in front of the fireplace on the cozy couch downstairs. Whatever the mood, there's a special place. When friends gather, there's plenty of room for the entertaining inside or out on the large deck. We feel we really get away from it all at our retreat.

House was wonderful! Owner was great and we had a wonderful time! Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed.
Perfect location and perfect house
We had five of us and it worked out perfect. House is very nice and clean. Deck is awesome for viewing balloons on Sunday morning. Owners are very accommodating. Will look to stay here again!
Even better than advertised!
My family and I stayed here for 3 nights while we visited Pagosa Springs and we couldn't believe how awesome this place was! The layout of the house is really cool and it came with a bunch of extra amenities! Everything was really clean and cozy and Cindy was great to work with! Would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has a great setup for families. It was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We enjoyed meals on the front deck and relaxing in the hammock. Cindy was quick to respond to any questions and helpful with suggestions for the area. We hope to return someday!
Very comfortable stay in Pagosa
Our family of five adults enjoyed two nights at the Holiday house in Pagosa. It was comfortable and pleasant. Cindy Nobles provided excellent communication to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. She went above and beyond. There were plenty of spices, pots & pans, and cooking essentials for the breakfast meals we prepared. The only reason for a 4- instead of 5-star rating was that the bed on the middle floor where my wife and I slept squeaked a lot. I seemed to wake frequently from the noise created with my wife's tossing. Also, the house had a slightly odd odor. My 21-yr old son who has asthma and is allergic to cats seemed to have more of a problem with caughing while we were there. I don't know if a previous guest had cats or what the issue was. He moved to the upstairs bedroom where it gave him the least problem, though his lungs still were bothered. Having said that, we'd stay at this home again. It met our needs, the home was centrally located, and the Noble's were very accommodating.
We appreciated having you as guests and are glad you made good use of the kitchen. We will check on how to quiet the main floor bed. As a rustic make of furniture and such a dry climate, it needs to be oiled periodically. We are sorry to hear of an asthma issue. This has never been previously reported and some years ago a cat lived here during a long-term rental. The carpets have been cleaned several times, are vacuumed regularly and with new carpet this Spring, we will certainly remove any last trace for even the most sensitive. Thank you for your review and for visiting our favorite place, Pagosa Springs.
Great Location with everything we needed.
Great location, close to town, lakes and forest. Home well stocked with everything we needed. Our favorite thing was the big deck...we ate all of our meals outside enjoying the amazing weather and watching the hot air balloons every morning.
