Wonderful Property

  • 5 of 5

My husband, sister and myself werre in Traverse City for a wedding. We considered ourselves to have been so fortunate to find this property. The house was immaculate and supplied with everything we needed. The beds were amazing which is important to three insomniacs. The yard was lovely and we barbecued one night and sat out and enjoyed a gorgeous Michigan evening. The only negative comment I would make is that the gas tank for the grill was unexpectedly empty and we had to do some last minute shopping to get a full tank. We would highly recommend this property despite the glitch with the gas.

Great Property in Good Location

  • 5 of 5

Was the perfect place for our family trip wine-tasting. Good sized backyard for lawn games and hanging out. Located on a fairly busy road, but feels very secluded. Rooms are a good size and everything is very comfortable and well decorated. Only complaint (and its a small one) is the water pressure is very weak.

Owner's Response: Hi Nathan, Thank you for your review! We replaced the fixtures in both showers and they fully engage now. I appreciate your feedback, and hope you'll stay with us again! Sincerely, Heather

Fantastic vacation spot in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Heather was great with communication leading up to the booking, after the booking, and even during our stay. The house was exactly as described. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there in the future. Even though we didn't have time to use the backyard during our short stay, there was a nice fire pit to relax by in the evenings. I can say there were 7 adult males in the house and we were still able to fit comfortably. The only slight downfall was the water temperature and pressure in both showers.

Owner's Response: Hi Nathan! Thank you for the kind review. We checked into the water pressure and actually replaced the full unit in each shower, they didn't appear to engage all the way! Thank you for catching this and letting us know. We look forward to having you as a guest in the future! Sincerely, Heather

Comfort Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed during a cold, snowy December and the house was warm and cozy. House was exceptionally clean and furnished with kitchen accessories. Bedrooms and bathrooms also nicely furnished. Recently been remodeled with a large bedroom and bath in the back of house if you want your space from others with a TV. We stayed In TC due to a family member in the local hospital. Having a place to come back to every night rather than a hotel room after being at the hospital all day was very comforting. Has a garage and breezeway and back patio for those wanting to be outside, for us at 9 degrees not a requirement. I would recommend the house for those wanting comfort and quiet. No neighbors to speak of. The location is a few miles from the airport but never heard the planes and about 10 minute drive into downtown. Heather was exceptional working with us due to the circumstances not knowing when we were able to leave. Only issue we had was the gas fireplace in the back room was not working and they brought a room heater right away. Heather was always responsive and helpful. We would recommend this house to others wanting a nice homey place to stay in Traverse City.

We had a great girls weekend at the house. We enjoyed the fire pit & large back yard. The house was spacious for 7 people.

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth! Family activities galore. Night life downtown! You will not be disappointed with the natural beauty or lack of fun things to do. This location is central and close to everything you want to do, without getting land locked by all the traffic. You can go around all the traffic and go to the east or west side of Traverse City and Downtown via Hammond Road to avoid the traffic jambs. Go downtown to enjoy all the attractions of the city. There is ample parking in the parking deck. Drive West to the awesome Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Drive to the East to see Elk Rapids and the emerald river. The best part is the people up here are nice. The crime rate is very low. I think there are more police per ca pita than any other county in the state.
