Fantastic Property !!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this wonderful property!! There was plenty of space and it was comfortable for our family. We loved being so close to Tahoe City but felt like a world away being on such a large and beautiful piece of land.

The trails behind the house along with the lake side trail immediately across the street made biking and hiking extremely accessible.

Lake Tahoe Gem - Peaceful and Secluded Mountain Home

  • 5 of 5

We would like to thank Jamie, the owner, for providing such an awesome experience during our stay in this awesome mountain home in north Lake Tahoe. We have stayed in numerous homes throughout the Tahoe basin over the years and have always had positive experiences. However, our stay at the Burton Creek Ranch tops our list so far. The location feels remote and secluded and yet is only a mile from Tahoe City and all it has to offer. You can park your vehicle and almost never need to use it. There are very nice walking / biking trails as well as bus service that stops at Hwy 28 near the turn off for the ranch. The lake is visible from the home and is only a short walk (crossing Hwy 28) or drive.

The pictures posted on VRBO are accurate. The home is spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and had plenty of supplies available for our use including, but not limited to, toiletries, paper goods, and water for the Keurig and a vast assortment of K-Cups. There are plenty of premium kitchen utensils for the cook and more than enough tableware, flatware, and drinkware. Bedding and linens are of quality and ample. Everything was in excellent working order. In addition, the owners prepared in advance to have items such as games, beach chairs, umbrellas, ice chest, maps and other points of interest left to enhance our stay. Our canine companions even had special beds, treats, toys, and individual food/water dishes available at arrival. The deck area had a comfortable chair and table set for 6 with a fully sized table umbrella for shade. The Tahoe Landscaping Nursery personnel were in and out early and were quiet and professional in their tasks. We feel this home and property offer something for all, from the busy adventurer to the ones just looking for quiet solitude; they can find it at Burton Creek ranch. Thanks again for being a responsive and gracious host!

Beautiful and amazing house and property!! Property Owners are kind and caring like friends!

  • 5 of 5

This place is AWESOME!! We have rented many VRBO properties and this one TOPS it all! The house is so spacious and has an open floor plan. And, the property is large enough for your children to roam and feel very safe. You can entertain and your guests would be so impressed. The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine and more. The owners didn't miss a beat with any amenities you may need for your vacation. And, if you have any concerns... Jamie the property owner, responded quicker than your best friend. We rented this property for 30 days and loved everyday of it. We woke up to beauty and peace everyday. The location was perfect for hiking (which was basically in your backyard) and several beaches across the main highway... very walkable. Dining and shopping in Tahoe City were within minutes drive or about a mile or so walk into town. This was a very memorable vacation for our family and friends and we will definitely rent this beautiful property again. Thank you Jamie and Tod for all you've done in making our summer vacation so fun and relaxing!! All our friends loved your place too.
