Year Purchased: 2013
About the owner: I directed and produced the movie Farmageddon...The Unseen War on American Family Farms. (Watch it on Netflix!) It documents raids that have occurred on our American farms. I traveled and spoke about the movie for two years, and now I am excited to have my own farm and serve the food we raise there at our restaurant in Concord, Massachusetts.
Why the Owner Chose Bath, NH, USA:
We purchased this property in 2013 so we could raise animals for our restaurant, Woods Hill Table, in Concord, Massachusetts. We have been raising heritage breed pigs, steers, and chickens on the farm. The former owners produced Patti Page Maple Syrup, and the farm was once New England's largest organic maple syrup producer. They also used the home as a wonderful vacation home/ski house and a retreat for their many grand children.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge:
Amazing views of the White Mountains, lots of trails through the woods, beautiful and happy farm animals.
