Log Cabin, Sleeps 2-10, 2 Baths, Gourmet Kitchen, Great Room, fireplace, views
The Lodge at Woods Hill is a spectacular 3200 sq. foot log cabin overlooking a swimming pond in the peaceful hills of western New Hampshire. It was once the mountain getaway for the famous 1950s singer, Patti Page, who was known for 'Tennessee Waltz.' The Lodge is part of a fully operational 265 acre farm that boasts pastured cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, a 19th century barn, and farmers who live just around the corner in the Farm House.
The log cabin is completely private and has a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a shower in the adjoining bathroom. There is also a full bathroom on the 1st floor. There is a loft with a queen-sized bed and sitting room. There are also 3 sofa beds for additional guests. The amazing library stocked with old favorites and unique reads is an unexpected surprise. There is nothing like curling up on the enormous leather sectional and reading a good book in front of the giant fireplace.
The dining room table is old charm spectacular and seats from 2 to 24. The lodge also has a fully outfitted kitchen with a 6-burner Viking Stove with plenty of room for side-by-side chefs. There are 2 dishwashers, a full bar and a separate ice-maker. Family and friends will love playing games, doing puzzles, relaxing on the huge screened in porch or playing Bumper Pool and cards.
Outside there is a fire pit, regulation horseshoes, and a pergola overlooking the pond. The property is surrounded by miles of hiking/skiing/ snowshoeing trails, so bring your boots, skis, and snowshoes. It is 28 miles to Loon Mountain and Cannon Mountain Ski Resorts, 39 miles to Mt. Washington, and 15 miles to the Appalachian Trail. This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a ski weekend with friends, a family vacation away from it all, or an executive retreat. Great in fall, winter, or summer. The views of Mt. Moosilauke are breathtaking.

About Kristin Canty
I directed and produced the movie Farmageddon...The Unseen War on American Family Farms. (Watch it on Netflix!) It documents raids that have occurred on our American farms. I traveled and spoke about the movie for two years, and now I am excited to have my own farm and serve the food we raise there at our restaurant in Concord, Massachusetts.
Kristin Canty purchased this Lodge in 2013
Why Kristin Canty chose Bath
We purchased this property in 2013 so we could raise animals for our restaurant, Woods Hill Table, in Concord, Massachusetts. We have been raising heritage breed pigs, steers, and chickens on the farm. The former owners produced Patti Page Maple Syrup, and the farm was once New England's largest organic maple syrup producer. They also used the home as a wonderful vacation home/ski house and a retreat for their many grand children.
What makes this Lodge unique
Amazing views of the White Mountains, lots of trails through the woods, beautiful and happy farm animals.

Yet another great stay. It was relaxing and provided everything we needed!
We had our wedding and reception at the lodge and could not be any happier with everything. We received so many compliments about how gorgeous it was. Amber was awesome to work with, always returned our calls promptly, allowed us to view the lodge several times before hand, and made sure to let us know she was available to help if needed. We highly recommend renting the lodge for any occasion. The pond was also a big hit with the kiddos and provided hours of entertainment. We are already planning our next trip back! Thanks for everything Amber!
Charming place to relax in a warm and luxurious lodge...
We spent a wonderful long week end in this great lodge. Plenty of space for the 10 adults of our family group. A complete kitchen and a 10 place bar to get together before having dinner and enjoying the evening by the spectacular fireplace. Charmed by this perfect place to get away with friends in a luxurious lodge.
Beautiful setting. The lodge is something out of a movie. Great for romantic getaway.
Amber is the best and gave us a great tour of the farm. This is the perfect getaway from city life. We plan on going back soon.
Perfect in every way
Our stay at the Lodge was absolutely perfect. Lots of space and privacy. It had everything you needed. I cannot wait to come back next year!
What a fun, enjoyable and confortable place to relax without distractions.
Family and friends came together here to enjoy the peaceful, absolutely gorgeous Lodge and farm.
The Lodge is fully equipped with more than the comforts of home, swimming pond with paddle boat, fire pit, horseshoes, books, games, hiking trails and the best sitting porch in New Hampshire.
Inside there is lots of room to spread out and relax or cook a huge meal served at a table for at least 20.. No crowded feeling there. And all of the kitchen equipment is right there.
The farm staff led by Amber is superb. Helpful, attentive and caring, they went out of the way to make sure we had a very thing we needed and gave great directions to nearby places and hiking trails.
I would recommend the Lodge to anyone who likes to have a vacation where you just bring some food and some clothes and then dig into the fun.
