We were born and raised in Toronto. We now live just outside the city in between Niagara Falls and Toronto. We love to travel and will often stay in condos or houses instead of a hotel. We love this brand new condo and have enjoyed spending time there this summer.
Norma Jones purchased this condo in 2014
This area is brimming with excitement. It is trendy, convenient and fun. It is close to the beach, close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. It is convenient to all of Toronto's major attractions. The bus stops at the door and the GO train is within walking distance. The highway is also a block away making it very convenient if you want to visit Niagara Falls or to cross the border into Buffalo. The night and day views from the balcony are stunning. Despite the fact that it is in the city the condo itself is quiet and you can dine on the balcony or sunbathe without obstructions from other buildings.
We love the wrap around balcony with views to die for. The condo is bright, spacious and open with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. One of the bathrooms has a deep soaker tub and the other has a nice large walk in shower. It's modern, new and cozy and comfortable.
Our fist trip to Canada was a great experience as Norma welcomed us into her high rise apartment. It had all the amenities we needed. The washer and drier for our clothes was fabulous and the views both day and night were spectacular. It is close in walking distance to the buses, taxis and street cars. Close in proximity then to the city, King, Bathurst and Queen Streets. The four adults in our family were very comfortable and the use of a car space for a few days was most welcome. Work is still being completed on the building which means the lifts are sometimes slow, but this was a minor inconvenience. We would highly recommend this apartment to future travellers and we would gladly stay here again. It made the occasion of our sons wedding even more special

The view from this condo is so amazing. Lake Ontario and the CN tower. Could not get enough of it. It's centered in the heart of Liberty Village which has everything you need. Grocery, restaurant, bars and coffe shops. all in walking distance, you never have to leave the area. Of course you'll want to see the CN tower, aquarium and Distillery district which is just a quick Uber ride away, about 10-15 minutes. It's also a nice walk if you don't mind it. 7 days was not enough time to see all we wanted and we definitely want to go back and will definitely stay here again.
This is a fantastic apartment in a really nice area. The towards the CN Tower are amazing especially at night with all the lights from the city, I had to insist on closing the curtains to get my kids to go to sleep on the first night as they were just staring out the window captivated!
From the moment we booked Kathy was excellent, any questions we had she answered quickly and the information she gave was excellent. Arrival was easy and straightforward with keys waiting at the concierge for us. When we walked in we were surprised at the amount of space we had, the photos don't do it justice, we are a family of 5 and didn't feel like we were getting in each others way.
The apartment was clean and well maintained and the beds were comfy with good bathroom facilities.
The area has all the amenities you need nearby, there is a large supermarket around the corner and is in an excellent location for exploring Toronto and the surrounding area, Niagara was only 1.5hrs away by car and it is easy to get to the major attractions in the area and there are several beaches and free pools within a short drive. Parking was easy enough if a little tight but then we had an Escalade so would of been easier with a normal car!
I would highly recommend this property to anybody and if we were lucky enough to go to Toronto again I would want to stay here again.
Thank you Kathy we had an excellent time in Toronto no doubt helped by staying in your lovely apartment.
Apartment exactly as described and spotlessly clean.
Amazing views downtown from the balcony and across to the lake.
Coffee shops, restaurants and food shopping just around the corner.
We also found that the public transport links were the best way to get around town. Did not need to use the car other than day trip to Niagara Falls and to get to the zoo.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Toronto from the CN Tower to the lake cruise. A truly laid back and cosmopolitan city.
Would highly recommend this apartment and Toronto in general.
You couldn't wish for a more accommodating host than Norma Jones, and the condo was the perfect spot for our two month visit to Toronto. The corner unit is exactly as advertised; clean, bright, with a comfy bed, a full kitchen, breathtaking views of the CN Tower and the balcony overlooking Lake Ontario - perfect for morning coffee, relaxing after a busy day, or sipping your late night beverage. The location is terrific, with public transit, the Gardner Expressway and the GO train, we rarely took the car out of the underground garage. Liberty Village is a vibrant community with great restaurants, lively bars, coffee shops and a Metro not five minutes away, and there is no lack of entertainment in Toronto, from ball games to biking on the nearby waterfront. We recommend it highly and would definitely return on a future visit.
Our family of 5 stayed in Norma's condo this past week and it couldn't have been a more perfect spot for our family vacation. The condo itself was very clean and bright, and the description listed is spot-on. The views are amazing. Pretty much anything you would need is located right by - grocery, coffee, shopping, TTA stops, etc. Norma quickly responded to any questions we had and the listing of local ideas she had was very helpful. It was also wonderful to have a parking spot for our vehicle and not have to pay extra for that as free parking in the city is hard to find.
Liberty Village could be described as a 'hip, young-professional area." It was a wonderful base to walk to a Toronto FC game, CN Tower, Aquarium and Rogers Centre for a Blue Jays game. The TTA is very easy to use and if you're there during a weekend, the group pass for $12 can't be beat. We were able to easily hop on the trolley and subway to get to Casa Loma, Chinatown and Kensington Market.
Tips to any travelers - larger cars are a bit difficult to maneuver through the city streets and parking garages. If you're able, bring a smaller vehicle.
TTA is a great deal on weekends, but kind of pricey during the week. Plan your events accordingly to make the most use out of group passes.
Definitely get a CityPASS if you're going to be going to more than one main attractions. It not only saves you money, but you'll also be able to skip the long, long lines at the locations.
Bring bags with you when grocery shopping - Canada charges 5c per bag.
We will definitely keep this property in mind for any future Toronto vacations!
We stayed at this condo for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The building is an excellent location smack dab in the middle of liberty Village. The building is quiet and well maintained with a nice gym. I highly recommend this rental and would not hesitate staying here again. Dealing with Norma was easy and responded quickly if any issues. Overall, a nice experience.
Located in the heart of the city everything is outside your front door. You can walk, bike, rollerblade or drive. The transit system is outside the front door. The lake is steps away with a beach. Direct Energy Centre within walking distance for trade show attendees. Ricoh Coliseum walking distance too.
