The cottages look super cute and the place has some charm. Negatives- the carpets are old and dirty, the coach was old (seventies). The beds are old but comfortable. Lake is beautiful but not well developed - not great beaches, boat rentals, etc. Unless you bring a boat, you have to have most of your fun from the shore/docks. Managers were responsive to concerns but there were some things that were just not fixable in the two days we were there like the recreation equipment (shuffle board and sand volleyball) was broken/missing.
Not happy with this cabin. NOT modern as advertised. Upon arrival we were told the cabin was ready for us. When we went in, the big floor rug and loveseat were covered with dog hair..very obvious it had not been vacuumed. The doorway to one bedroom had tacks from tack strips sticking up through the vinyl. The vinyl flooring was apparently laid over carpeting so it was wavy and rippled. None of the 3 outdoor lights had bulbs in them. This does not sleep 8 comfortably. In between the dresser and wall was so much dirt, cobwebs and spider eggs, it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Under the bed looked the same. The carpet is old..I would not go barefoot anywhere in the cabin. The bathroom floor had a square cutout and put back into place and it felt like the wood was rotted underneath but it wasn't. On the plus side, the young owner is very polite and friendly and we never lacked hot water while we were there. The kitchen was updated.
