Great secluded cabin

  • 5 of 5

This cabin in a quiet area and it's just a few minutes from the lake and the busy areas. The closest neighbors are a good distance from this cabin. The owners are great and very accommodating. It's just like being in your own home, not a rental property. Thank you for letting us stay at your place.

tranquil

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful scenery, quiet relaxing and most of all at peace with yourself there. Waking up in the morning to a beautiful snowfall the night before and being able to go out and walk around and feel safe. Hearing the coyotes at night was extra special because we love the wildlife. Only minutes to the lake. We will be back!

Black Bart Property

The cabin is simple but nice and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs to go down from the garage which is located on the road. If you have to bring a lot down, especially in the snow, it can be difficult. The bedrooms are a little small but the queen bed is comfortable. The trundle bed is ok. My family really enjoyed it even though the snow was really heavy. 1/12/17

Great place to relax

  • 5 of 5

Please pardon my belated review for this cabin. My family wanted to do an impromptu weekend escape to Lake Tahoe, and Mark was incredibly helpful with our last-minute booking and questions. There were 4 in our group. The cabin was the perfect size for us to spread out and cook meals. My dog enjoyed playing on the meadow which the cabin faced. We also enjoyed sledding on the slope between the cabin and street. We did not feel we needed to go to the casinos or town except for grocery shopping at Raleys or Safeway. The kitchen is open and faces the livingroom, so you can talk to people as you prepare meals. The washer and dryer were great additions. This is by far our *favorite* cabin in the South LT area. We hope to return soon.
