We are leaving today and I wanted to let you know this has been one of our

best vacations ever!!! Our daughter is leaving for college (Clemson) in a

couple of weeks and we wanted one last vacation to share with her before she

Burngalow is a cozy cabin and we felt right at home!! The tv in the great

room was so nice and my son enjoyed watching Braves games!! The beds were

very comfortable and the bathrooms convenient. The screened porch was an

"every morning" coffee spot for me and two mornings I saw deer in the

surrounding woods.

We hiked for hours and hours in Sherwood Forest and swam in the lakes. We

visited DuPont and Gorges State Park frequently.

I know you don't always get feedback from guests but we had an amazing time

and I just wanted to thank you and the owner for this vacation! We are so

Very comfortable and very cozy cabin and fantastic location in Sherwood Forest.

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at "Burngalow", a very comfortable and cozy cabin. We love all the great hiking trails that are just out the front door and run all thru Sherwood Forest. I particularly enjoy walking the 18 hole par 3 golf course. It's such a pretty little course with some fun and challenging holes and it's always very well maintained. Outside of Sherwood Forest there is so much to do whether it's more hiking in Dupont State Forest, Gorges State Park or Pisgah National all of which have some absolutely beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. And then, of course there is Brevard, which is such a cool town with great restaurants, brewing pubs and shops to enjoy. We look forward to our next visit.
