Poolside Bungalow is a three bedroom, 2 bath two-level condominium suite. Two bedrooms each have a full bathroom and are located on the ground floor. The third bedroom is located below ground level, down a spiral staircase from the living room. The large 350 square foot third bedroom has a separate entrance to two full bathrooms located in a common area. Guests can relax in on the private garden lanai surrounded by tropical landscaping. A twin size rollaway bed is available for an additional $75 per night and easily fits in the downstairs third bedroom.

Each bedroom includes two oversized beach towels and each bathroom has two bath towels, two hand towels and two face towels. One initial set of travel size Aveda shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion are provided in each bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, glassware, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, baking trays, drip coffee maker, toaster, instant hot water boiler, rice cooker, blender, salt, pepper and aluminum foil. Enjoy the conveniences of laundry in the suite with a stackable washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets are provided.

Poolside Bungalow guests have access to the Wailea Inn communal yoga studio, heated pool, jacuzzi, poolside bbq gas grill, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys.

This luxury villa is a private tropical oasis only 50 yards from beaches, snorkeling and surfing. The perfect location for any family or retreat group. Minutes away from shops, restaurants, playgrounds, tennis courts and skate-parks. All are within walking distance from our beautiful property.

Wailea Inn may be booked as a private residence offering 14 bedrooms within the 4 private residences. You may book each unit separately depending on the size of your group and how many bedrooms you would prefer. This listing is specifically for the Poolside Bungalow, 3 bedrooms 2 bath plus bonus shared bath and can sleep up to 6. The villa has four separate newly remodeled units, each with their own private lanai (patio). Owner Gal Cohen was born and raised in Israel. His diverse career includes the Real Estate Development, Construction, Landscape & Design, Consulting and Property Management Industries. Gal Cohen is the founder of Cohen Development Group, a real estate investment company active across Maui in the development, ownership and operation of luxury residential and commercial properties. Gal has mastered the art of modern and contemporary design and construction that compliments the existing environment. His signature earthy, contemporary and eclectic style can be identified in each of his projects, ranging from oceanfront residential homes to the renovation of Lumeria Maui, a historic luxury retreat and educational center, and the remodel of Wailea Inn.

In partnership with Xorin Balbes, Gal purchased and remodeled Wailea Inn in 2013. An avid traveler, Gal wanted to create an accommodation that combined his memorable stays from all around the world. The result being Wailea Inn – a combination of comfort, luxury and tropical landscape all with convenient access to daily surf sessions and the Maui sunsets. Outside his passion for work, he enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, stand-up paddling, traveling and practicing yoga.

Owner Xorin Balbes is an award winning architectural conservator, lauded designer, and philanthropist, Xorin Balbes discovered his passion and vision for the design and re-design process while renovating his first home in Santa Barbara. He is founder of TempleHome, an award winning architecture and design firm recognized nationally for conservation and a holistic approach to design that nourishes the soul and harbors an impressive high-profile celebrity client list. Xorin’s impressive succession of re-designs and renovations encouraged him to develop his own philosophy for home design entitled, SoulSpace. The process was born out of Xorin’s discovery of a deeper purpose and meaning in his life.

College Friends Reunion for a Destination Wedding

Seriously loved how clean & fully loaded w/ amenities it was! Had towels for shower/beach, washer/dryer, dish washer, cooking utensils! If we needed anything else we were close to a Foodland or Target etc. Had a bbq, pool & jacuzzi which all worked & were very clean as well. Walking distance to local bars, cute dress shops, rental shops for beach activities, vollyball & of course the beach. Just a perfect location in a beautiful living arrangement. For 7 days split between 6 it was a little over $800 but worth it. I definitely didn't feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth. Being in that house made my vacation that much more special. Also Chelsey was amazing to work with. This will be a favorite vaca memory for all of us who stayed there, thank you!

Check-in time is 4 pm.
Based on your planned arrival time, the Property Manager will greet you upon check-in and give you the keys. Upon check-in, please allow five to 10 minutes for a brief property walk-through to answer any questions and to verify the condition of the property.
Late arrivals can access the keys in each suite’s lock box located next to the front door. The gate code is provided in each reservation’s Welcome Forms

Check-out time is 11am.
All unapproved check-outs after 11am will be subject to a holdover charge.
We require a walk-through of each condominium suite with you and our Property Manager to verify that the property is in the same condition as when you checked in. Guest will be accountable for any excess damage or cleaning. Any resulting charges will be deducted from your security deposit.

Put all perishables and food items in the refrigerator or dispose of it.
Place all trash in the “Aloha Waste” trash dumpster located by the front gate.

Welcome Forms
All Welcome Forms must be signed and emailed back 60 days prior to arrival date to guarantee requested bed configurations and baby equipment. If our Reservations Manager does not receive the Welcome Forms 60 days prior to arrival, all beds will be arranged as king beds instead of the optional twin beds.
The Property Manager is not on-site, therefore guests must designate their estimated arrival time at the Wailea Inn on the Welcome Forms.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
