The guesthouse was clean and attractive and had every amenity I needed. The hosts went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. The property was conveniently located with access to great restaurants, shopping and biking trails, as well as a protected area for running. I highly recommend the Casas Adobes guesthouse!
This is our second year renting this guest house in February and we are very pleased! You couldn't ask for nicer owners who live next door. They give you your privacy but are ready and willing to help in any way.
We love the one bedroom guest house and patio. The thick Adobe wall around the two houses keeps the inside and patio cool. The guest house itself is so pretty and nicely furnished. Makes us feel right at home.
There are so many terrific places to eat out but we also enjoy putting something on the grill and steaming some fresh veggies in the electric skillet.
Walking the development is almost like visiting the Desert Museum, all natural desert plants with critters running out ahead. It's a comfortable 1.8 mile round trip walk to Safeway, Walgreens, Whole Foods and our two absolute favorites Frost Gelato and Beyond Bread!
We look forward to returning.
We just returned from a great week at Candace's and Rob's casita in the Casas Adobes area of Tucson. The location was perfect; the casita was charming and spotless; from the moment we walked in, we thought it was beautiful. The casita is next door to their house, but we felt very private. It is furnished with southwest charm, and Candace even provided fresh flowers and York mints to welcome us.
In addition, Candace went out of her way to accommodate us - drawing us a map of the area, providing us with suggestions and other maps, and even doing laundry for us.
We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to be.
We spent a great month as guests. Casita was well set up and freshly decorated. Our hosts, although new to renting, were professional in every way way, very friendly and helpful. Location was great- five minutes drive from good shopping and restaurants, yet in a desert setting with abundant cacti and wildlife. Seemed like we were far out in the country. A wonderful location for a quiet vacation!
We ended up being their first renters when we were there in January, but our hosts came across as real "pros". Every need was quickly met with a smile. The casita was elegantly outfitted, and the amount of living space totally met our needs. This was 2 miles from my brother's house, so that made it very convenient. In addition, there were many restaurants and plenty of shopping very nearby. We hesitated to give them a good review so that we could keep this as "our little secret". But, alas, it is hard to say anything but pleasant things about this rental and the hosts.
We spent three week this February at this beautiful guest house and loved it. This was their first season renting it and had been newly renovated. Everything was perfect. The owners live next door and couldn't have been any nicer or helpful. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio outside the bedroom door.
The location was perfect- a nice healthy two mile loop to two large grocery stores, a drug store, a breakfast/lunch/bakery shop, Tucson's favorite gelato, and a bank. Up and down the N. Oracle Rd within 5 miles are plenty of any kind of store, restaurant or business you might need. And the development where it is located has an all natural setting, huge lots, beautiful homes and so quiet.
Good location for all that Tucson has to offer.
