Spacious Cabin Overlooking Williams Fork River

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The cabin was clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed grilling out on the patio, toasting marshmallows at the riverside fire pit, and lazy floats along the river. We could put our tubes in the river at one side of the property, and because of the unique bend in the river, end up at the other end of the property 20 minutes later. Our hosts greeted us with homemade cookies, helped us find some great local hikes, and even inflated our tubes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Sandra and Turner are the most gracious hosts. Their attention to detail went above and beyond to make us feel welcome after a long, hectic previous ten days of travel in Colorado. We booked this cabin because we knew we would need some down time before heading home from a hiking and fishing filled vacation through Colorado's national parks and monuments. This cabin provided our family with an incredible natural "playground" in which to hike, fish and rejuvenate. Sandra and Turner welcomed us with a lovely note and homemade cookies. Such a nice touch! The cabin was spotless, comfortable and inviting. We wish we lived closer so we could come back frequently to this little slice of heaven!

Luxury in a Rustic Log Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The log cabin on Williams Fork is great. We were a group of 5 elk hunters from Kentucky who stayed in the cabin 7 nights in November, 2015. The cabin has everything we could have asked for, luxury, roominess, dish washer, clothes washer and dyer, two showers with plenty of hot water, dishes, pots and pans, microwave, fireplace, mud room, and comfortable beds. Sandra and Turner started out as hosts and ended up as friends. Our elk hunting group traditionally has one or two fish fries during our outings and Sandra and Turner joined us for two nights to eat fish and socialize. Our group has expanded to 8 this year and we have booked the cabin for November, 2016. I recommend this cabin highly, but please don't book it during our November elk hunts.

What a special spot. This is where you go to get some peace and quiet, away from it all. Turner and Sandy were great hosts too.

Beautiful, Peaceful, and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

This cabin and property is absolutely fantastic. If you enjoy nature and are looking for a peaceful getaway- go ahead and book this cabin now! The cabin itself is so cool- very true to the pictures. Spacious, rustic and "cabiny" feel, but actually very luxurious. The king sized bed upstairs was so comfortable (that's the only bed I slept in but my kids said the same about the other beds). You will sleep like a baby with the windows open and the cool mountain air coming in. My kids especially loved the loft area. When they were not outside in the teepee or the river, they could be found in the loft playing monopoly or cards. The property is just beautiful, and the river is ideal for children. Also, the owners live close by (maybe 1/2 mile down the road) and they are lovely, helpful, gracious people. I promise you, you will not regret this vacation. Book it!!!
