About Debra Crossley
We are a local West Cape May family who love nature and the outdoors. Richard Crossley is the award-winning author of 'The Crossley ID Guides'. We moved to Cape May in 1991 from England because of the incredible birding, butterflies, beaches and nature and have never looked back!

Homey, Airy, Unique, and Relaxing... and just a hop from the beach
This is a roomy, bright, rambling renovation. It seems that around every corner there is a comfortable place to relax and read, or just watch the birds out one of its myriad windows. It is well-kept and clean and the fixtures are modern, and in good working order. The stove is a good quality gas-stove and we cook, so this was a very welcome feature. The washer and dryer are good quality too. The bathrooms are a stand-out, with inviting upscale stone showers. Full disclosure: we were the first renters of the season and there were some minor bumps (like no can-opener, and the wifi had not been activated when we first arrived) but the owners were available, attentive, and addressed the issues within minutes of notification. You should also note that linens are NOT supplied. But the owners referred us to a convenient local service that supplies all you need at a reasonable price. And after you get the sheets on them, the beds are very high quality and comfortable. No matter how you slice it, this house is an outstanding value on Cape May Point. That's the meat of the review , but there are a lot of little extras that made this a uniquely pleasant stay for us. The house is filled with bright, engaging, original paintings. The beach is a block and a half away. You can hear the waves from your pillow. The lake, and state park are steps away too. Cape May is a birding Mecca and the owner is the author of a renowned innovative series of birding field guides and gave us valuable and expert guidance on all that was going-on within a few blocks of this charming home. This house made our stay on the point a memory that will stay with us forever. An outstanding value, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My week-long stay in Cape May Point was wonderful. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything needed for a great visit. The bedrooms are large. The bathrooms are clean and have great showers. And the kitchen and living room are large and welcoming. All in all, the house could not have fit my needs better. Thanks Debra and Richard for a great week!

Had a great week at the Point
This was our 2nd year at the Sandpiper. A great house - updated and very comfortable. A short walk to a beautiful beach and lots of activities from fishing, walking, shopping and nature! The kids had a great time - lots of sun and Dolphins! We are coming back again next year - can't wait.
We're so happy you had another wonderful stay and look forward to welcoming you back in 2016. All the best, The Crossleys
Family Trip to Cape May Point
We had a great stay at the Sandpiper Beachhouse. Debra was very accommodating, very helpful in pointing out things to do, places to eat, and was very attentive to our needs. The layout of the home was perfect for our family of five (3 young children) plus our parents. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Cape May Point.
Cape May Point is an idyllic retreat with calm beaches, nature trails and dolphin watching. The gourmet Red Store is a 5 minute stroll away, or you can walk up to St Petes and see and amazing sunset with other Pointers.
