Welcome to Paradise….Fort Myers Beach! Miles and miles of white, sugary sand, great weather, the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, swaying palm trees, abundant wildlife and breathtaking sunsets. Enjoy it all at the quieter, relaxing, southern end of the island at Carlos Pointe 132.
Our clean and neatly kept two bedroom, two bathroom, on the beach condo was remodeled in 2013 and is tiled throughout. Thanks to the open floor plan, when you enter the condo your eyes are drawn straight ahead thru the lanai to the beauty of the beach and the gulf waters. To your right is a full kitchen to prepare your feasts….everything you need is there. Looking to your left is the guest bedroom with two twin beds, a full bath, TV, and washer/dryer tastefully stacked in the bathroom closet.
There are stools at the bar for two people to enjoy or seating for four around the dining table for family or friends. The living room has a sofa and two chairs for entertaining, be it yourself or others. Anywhere you sit there is nothing but view, and with the sliding door opened to the lanai, the weather can be enjoyed also.
Last, but certainly not least, is the master bedroom with adjoining full bath, walk-in closet, and TV. A wonderful view of the beach awaits from the window or slide the door open to the lanai and spend time soaking it all in.
If keeping connected is your thing then we have a wireless router for you and your communications. We are steps away (may have to get your feet sandy) from the heated pool and deck area; from the community room where you can play a game or read a book from the library; and from the stop for the local trolley bus. Park your car and travel the island on the trolley for little money.
From our location you are a walk over the causeway to Lovers Key State Park, rated one of the top ten beaches in Florida. Sunning, swimming, shelling, or exploring the wildlife are just a few of the opportunities. Head north a mile and you will find Santini Plaza with unique shops and restaurants. Behind the plaza is one of many marinas where you can rent or charter a boat. Another quarter mile north there is the Beach Theatre where you can dine and watch a movie. Another mile or so is Publix market for your grocery needs; with the award winning Bay Front Bistro and another marina tucked behind. Further north about five miles is Times Square, many restaurants and shops await you; plus the nightlife, the fishing pier, the Big M Casino boat and the Key West ferry.
Off the island is a multitude of 18 hole golf courses, or miniature golf for the kiddos! Heading north or south off of the island you will encounter a variety of shopping or dining experiences up and down US 41. Other destinations you might be interested in are the Fort Myers/Naples dog track on Bonita Beach Road, Ford and Edison Winter Home Museum, the Calusa Nature Center, the Naples Zoo, the Imaginarium, the Barbara Mann Performing Arts Hall, or you can always take a ride on an airboat or swamp buggy.
There is much to do……or just kickback. However you define your little piece of Paradise…..ENJOY!!
This was our families first trip to Fort Meyers Beach and we can't wait to get back. Everything about the vacation was perfect! The condo was spectacular for our family of four. Very clean, well maintained and decorated nicely. It was obvious the place was recently remodeled and everything we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked but the screened in porch was the best! The unit is located one floor off the ground and you feel on top of the beach and ocean with the best view.
The pool area was great for kids swimming and parent lounging and friendly people of all ages. We enjoyed playing sand volleyball with our family and several matches with folks we just met. The beach is larger than I've ever seen and plenty off room to play football or Frisbee . My boys aren't into shelling but the kids who are won't be disappointed.
We enjoyed the location because it seemed less crowded than the north end and still plenty of great restaurants to choose from a short car ride away or $0.50 to take the trolley anywhere you want to go on the beach. The State Park was close and one evening at the dog track ( Big Fun ) is just around the corner.
The property owner was great to deal with and could not have been more accommodating to any request we had. We have done VRBO at different locations in Michigan and Florida and this was by far our best experience yet!
