About Christine Kersen
My husband Joe has lived in Ouray since 1977. I moved there in 1995 and instantly fell in love with the town. We ran a Construction company from 1997 to 2012 when my husband decided to finish his education and obtain his LPN license. I have been a real estate broker since 2007 and we have 5 great kids. We moved to Montrose in 2013 to be closer to work. Luckily Ouray is not a far drive and we still enjoy seeing all of our friends and family in the area.
Christine Kersen purchased this Cabin in 2005

We stayed here the week of thanksgiving to celebrate our honeymoon and the holiday. The House was clean, cozy, and so sweet. Our dog absolutely loved the stay as well. It was in such a perfect location to everything and we stayed super warm with the fire going. Not a huge kitchen but we managed a full thanksgiving meal so it’s not too tiny. We loved it so much that we plan to make it an annual trip. Thanks so much for everything.
Nice cabin to stay in. Very cozy and rustic! Steps are really high and a bit scary, it was pretty hot, and there were not spatulas or cooking utensils but otherwise we had everything we needed. Great communication by the owner too!
Very neat and clean cabin! We loved our stay there!!!!!
This is a nice place. It was exactly what we needed for our recent trip to Ouray. Quiet area with plenty of space inside and out. Glad we found it !!!!
Very good experience
Very good experience. Cabin is exactly as advertised and very comfortable to stay in while experiencing Ouray. Picked Ouray because of its location and elevation within the San Juans. Came from tucson to see some snow and got a foot on the way in coming through the mountains. Downside is a little too far to walk to town in winter and close proximity to neighbors but an excellent location to appreciate the scenery and the mountains at a great price. Ouray is unique and has a large selection of restaurants and bars and gift shops to explore. Telluride is a must do day trip if for nothing more than the drive and the gondola, but also the skiing. Orvis ten minutes up the road has outdoor hot spring spas clothing optional and open to the public for a 15 dollar fee which was a good find. Plan to return in the future and would hope to book again if traveling with pets and hoping to do some skiing.
It was a perfect getaway for a couple
