The sunsets are stunning from D-612, a top-floor, 1-bedroom, 1-bath oceanview condo at Kihei Akahi. With near perfect weather almost year-round you will enjoy the view from your private lanai not just in the evenings, but in the early mornings and throughout the day. The top-floor D-building units have the best views in the complex.

Light and bright with tile throughout, this condo can sleep four with a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sofabed in the living area. With tropical furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer/dryer, the condo has everything you need for a home away from home. The newly renovated bathroom (2011) is great including full tile in the walk-in shower! For trips to the beach, the owners have thoughtfully provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler to take to across the street to popular Kamaole II Beach Park. To keep you connected, D-612 has FREE high-speed Internet for your computer.

The Kihei Akahi complex has two pools, gas barbecues (very popular!) and a tennis court. Many good restaurants (Mexican, Greek, Chinese, Hawaiian, Thai, Denny's, a bagel shop, and the new hit, Cafe O'Lei) are within walking distance. So whether you are going to the beach, heading out to eat, or having a barbecue at the complex, Kihei Akahi is an ideal location without even getting in your car!

The top floor D Building condos are the most popular in the complex, so reserve D-612 early!

Great location / budget accommodation

Great view. Lovely pool. Floors were very dirty & sticky; at arrival toilet area needed cleaning. Small A/C unit didn’t work well. Some of the pots / pans are badly worn and need replacing. The grounds and pool at Kihei Akahi are beautifully maintained.

Owner's Response: Mahalo for staying with us. All frying pans have been replaced. We will check the pots and replace as needed.A technician has looked into the AC and in order for it to work properly it has to stay exactly where it is. We have a note on it to explain how it works. Clean but . . .

Some outlets don't work. Back left burner on the stove doesn't work. Dishwasher stopped dispensing dish detergent after the first two or three washings. Other than that the room was clean except for a almost vinegar smell in the cupboards and drawers which made me feel something was off.

I've stayed in Bldg D many times since 1995. Its like home to me.

It's a beautiful view from D612. Everything you need is here. The only glitch is that the Internet and TV cable is erratic. We had to make multiple calls regarding the technology. There was also construction going on in one of the condos which was very noisy. If you want quiet, this may not be the place. The grounds are beautiful but come at a noisy price.
