Charming, beautiful, convenient, cozy... Perfect Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this retreat. The place was decorated SO cute and everything about it was so cozy/home-y. Actually, everything more beautiful than the photos! I was very impressed with all the little notes around the place telling you where things were, how something worked, etc. Such a nice touch! Also very helpful that there were some board games and decks of cards to use, which passed the downtime since there wasn't much snow to play in when we visited =( We brought our 14 month old pup with us and we LOVED the fact that they had a fully enclosed backyard/dog run for him to use.

This place is perfect for couples or small families, very quiet and close to all the fun places to visit: about 15 minutes from Tahoe City, 40 minutes from South Lake Tahoe/Heavenly Village/Casinos. We discovered a great dog park to visit while we were there in South LT (Bijou Park).

We will definitely be coming back to the Magical retreat for our next vacation!

Comfy, clean, peaceful,wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We spent Christmas here as our boys were home from college & we have been living through a renovation. We all needed relaxation & that’s what we got here. It’s like a Swiss chalet, so cozy but plenty of room, great fire going, we loved it. Of course I forgot the coffee but found some was provided which was the best surprise that first morning! You won’t be disappointed here! Thank you again Sarina!

West shore retreat

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It got pretty warm in the afternoon but the fans made it much more comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with more than anybody would need. There were more bath towels than we needed. The owners were very nice. The only downside were the stairs which were fine for me but not so good for my husband who has two bad knees. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who has no problem with stairs.

Quiet Retreat near the best beach at Meeks Bay

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is located in a quiet area away from the hustle of town. Meeks Bay is very close and a real gem. It's a nice clean sandy white beach with turquoise water. The place is well stocked, the owners are helpful and out going.

They have an area for pets with a fence.

The upstairs twins are accessed via a ladder, and some what steep. The couches downstairs are fine for sleeping.

Perfect place for my family

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable place. The host was kind enough to leave the lights on for us, making it much easier to find the place when we arrived after midnight.

Wonderful Cabin for a cozy weekend in the snow

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was overall very nice. Plenty of room for everyone and very cozy. Dogs were allowed which was very nice. The play area in the back was perfect to hang out and play in the snow. Close to sledding hills, the lake, and a ski area. Sarina was an awesome host and responded to my texts promptly. She let us use the sleds and shovels and accepted my request for late check out. It made for a really nice weekend. The only thing I would change is the internet situation, the WIFI only worked if your device was basically touching the router. Other than that it was an awesome stay. Thanks Sarina for everything. You have a lovely cabin.
