The fully equipped kitchen begs for the chef within you to whip up your favorite meal, while a BBQ pit awaits outside for those who enjoy grilling!

Once your day is over and sleep is on the menu, know that a luxurious and cozy king bed awaits in the loft. Fall asleep in the piece and quiet of the Smokies and wake up with a feeling of serenity. Overlooking the wall of windows and the reaches of the beautiful mountains, the view from the loft is unparalleled. As you lie in the King bed, look to your right and watch the city of Pigeon Forge glow. It is surreal...there is no better place to awake and it is a great way to end and start the day. The same can be said when relaxing in the large jacuzzi tub which is located in the loft as well.

About Kendall and Leina Luelf

My wife Leina and I (Kendall) got married in June of 2009. I previously worked in TN at a nuclear plant that is located about 2 hours from Pigeon Forge. I absolutely loved the area while I worked there and always wanted to go back. We now live in IL and I currently work at a nuclear plant locally, and my wife Leina works for a consulting firm. Last year we visited the area again and decided to look for property while we were there. We purchased our first cabin last year. It is called Closer To Heaven and is located in Wears Valley. We decided to rent it out while we weren't occupying it and quickly found that with my job, last minute vacations are tough to plan and the cabin was usually booked. We looked around for more property so that we could have a couple of choices when we visit and here we are!

Kendall and Leina Luelf purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Kendall and Leina Luelf chose East

We choose this property for two reason. First, the views. Pictures absolutely do not do them justice and the only description is 'truly stunning'. Second is the location. It is located only 5-10 miles from everything and this is SO convenient when driving mountainous roads. The cabin is very luxurious and well build with solid log construction.

Amazing Cabin/Getaway Experience

  • 5 of 5

I would definitely recommend this to those looking to stay in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived and the view from the cabin was amazing. The deck is oriented as such that you don't really have other neighboring cabins obstructing your view; perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or soaking in the hot tub at night. Its about 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and about 30 minutes to the Smoky Mountains.

Great time and spectacular views.

  • 5 of 5

Our favorite thing was the view. We now know why they are called the Smokey Mountains. The boys loved the hot tub and the air hockey table.

We drove through Smokey Mountain National Park and Cades Cove. Visited Wonderworks and caught the magic show. We can also confirm that the Old Mill Restaurant really is the best restaurant in Pigeon Forge.

We would visit again.

Wonderful vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay ! If you are looking for a cabin with the best view this is this ! If you are looking for a cabin to go to after staying out all night maybe not the best choice. The driveway was scary the first time in daylight but it did get a lot easier! But still didn't want to do it in the dark but we are not late night people so it worked for us. The whole rental experience was wonderful and owners answered all questions and always felt they were not far away if there was anything we needed

Can't get enough of the views!

  • 5 of 5

We would have spent every minute on the porch staring at the beautiful mountain views if we could, and we did try to, when we were there. The good thing is that even inside you can still see the views in most areas of the cabin as well.

We were happy we had the VRBO app directions as they helped a lot to find the actual location. Yes, the road is steep, but we didn't have any problems with an all wheel drive vehicle.

The location is great. You are up in the mountains so you have the views, but only a few minutes from anything that you need and only about an hour or even less from most of the best hikes in the National Park. We didn't do anything in Pigeon Forge except drive through, but it is so close if you like what it offers.

The cabin has everything that you need and more. The bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, and if not you can wash and dry them. A bathroom on each floor is great. The kitchen is a little small (counter space) because we do a lot of cooking, but still wasn't anything to complain about. Air hockey and a hot tub with a view, wifi, Etc. And there are neighbors, but you have plenty of privacy still, which the way the cabins are situated.

We would return from a hard day of hiking and relax and enjoy the views and the hot tub-it can't get much better than that. It was one of our top VRBO rentals ever and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

We can't stop thinking about our stay at Eagle's View and our time in the Smoky Mountains.

Wow...WOW! Gotta be the best view around!! Very central to everything! Great owners!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I were fortunate to stay in Eagles View while hiking and vacationing in Tn. It was our first trip there (there will be more!) The views were amazing! We spent our 42nd wedding anniversary hiking the many trails close by. Everything we needed was supplied in the cabin as well as information on trails around the area the owners had emailed me previously. The owners were very helpful and had much information we needed to get started on our own. A very nice couple!! The cabin was in the middle of everything we wanted. We even had a view of the fireworks in Dollywood far below..it was amazing to set in the hot tub after hiking all day and view the city lights in the distance at night. I recommend eating at the Apple Barn...well worthy the home cooking! It is a short drive (minutes) away in Sieversville. Groceries stores are very close by as well. We went specifically for hiking...and found so many trails close by. We also found some backroads to Cades Cove and avoided the traffic on "the strip". Free music was available at the Moonshine Tasting place at The Island which was across from the road we turned on for the cabin. If you can only do one thing while there, visit Cades Cove early in the morning. Absolutely amazing!! I also recommend stopping at one of the Welcome Centers going into the National Park and picking up great maps for $1 each, some for hiking, some for driving trails/tours etc. The driving trail thru Roaring Fork was nice as well. The cabin driveway is steep. I highly recommend arriving during the daylight hours so as to get a feel for the sharp hairpin turns going up the side of the mountain. We drove an GMC Terrain SUV and I'm not sure our 4 door truck could have made the turns easily because of the length. Great flat parking once up there. If you want views like this you have to learn to drive up the driveway! After all, they did get material up there to build it with big trucks...so it is doable! I might recommend bringing a couple folding lawn chairs. Should you have company or have someone staying with you overnight you will need them. There are two nice rocking chairs on the deck but that was all. Not a complaint really, just more chairs are needed for the deck I think. And maybe a nice small folding table (card table size) for morning breakfast out there as well.Too nice of view to waste it inside! The folding table would make grilling easier also.Could be stored away later. Super nice stay! Great owners!
