Overlooking the wall of windows and the reaches of the beautiful mountains, the view from the loft is unparalleled. As you lie in the King bed, look to your right and watch the city of Pigeon Forge glow. It is surreal...there is no better place to awake and it is a great way to end and start the day. The same can be said when relaxing in the large jacuzzi tub which is located in the loft as well.

About Kendall and Leina Luelf

My wife Leina and I (Kendall) got married in June of 2009. I previously worked in TN at a nuclear plant that is located about 2 hours from Pigeon Forge. I absolutely loved the area while I worked there and always wanted to go back. We now live in IL and I currently work at a nuclear plant locally, and my wife Leina works for a consulting firm. Last year we visited the area again and decided to look for property while we were there. We purchased our first cabin last year. It is called Closer To Heaven and is located in Wears Valley. We decided to rent it out while we weren't occupying it and quickly found that with my job, last minute vacations are tough to plan and the cabin was usually booked. We looked around for more property so that we could have a couple of choices when we visit and here we are!

Kendall and Leina Luelf purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Kendall and Leina Luelf chose East

We choose this property for two reason. First, the views. Pictures absolutely do not do them justice and the only description is 'truly stunning'. Second is the location. It is located only 5-10 miles from everything and this is SO convenient when driving mountainous roads. The cabin is very luxurious and well build with solid log construction.

Amazing Honeymoon Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent a week at Eagles View for our honeymoon. This was our first experience with VRBO so we were a little nervous. This place was exactly what we were looking for - far enough away from town to feel secluded but close enough to GSMNP for hiking and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for touristy stuff on rainy days. We both really enjoyed the hot tubs and fireplace after a long day's hike. The views are truly spectacular. Pictures don't do them justice. The cabin was immaculately clean and was supplied with kitchen and bathroom essentials which lasted us the entire week. Kendall and Leina were great hosts. Communication with them was prompt before, during and after our stay. They even suggested a variety of hiking trails with detailed descriptions and difficulty level. We were sad to leave and would come back and stay at Eagles View in a heartbeat.

The perfect cabin for us

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th visit to the area. We also rented cabins the three previous times. Eagles View was our favorite by far. It offered everything we needed.

You could not ask for a better view,( that is my favorite part)The cabin was cleaner than others we had stayed in. It was a great location, close to all the attractions. It does have a steep drive to the top but I did not think it was bad at all. Wintertime may be a different story.

I do recommend this cabin to anyone that wants a nice place to stay.

Awesome

  • 5 of 5

Cabin and view are more then amazing. Owners are very helpful: we had some questios and they answered in minutes. Plenty of places to hike. During short stay we saw black bear in Cades Cove, went tubing, hiking. But if you want just to relax..you can stay on balcony in hammock or in outside tub.

We loved our stay!

Exactly what we hoped for and more!

  • 5 of 5

Eagle's View was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck in the mornings, relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, and gazing out at the spectacular view all around. The hammock also became a favorite hang out spot for reading and napping. The cabin had everything we needed and more, and it was the perfect place to rest and relax after spending our days out in the surrounding areas exploring and recreating. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park are all within 20-30 minutes of the cabin, making it a convenient place to stay while still being able to get away from high volumes of tourist traffic. We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a private, peaceful getaway with a great view and close proximity to town and the park, and we look forward to returning ourselves next time we stay in the Smoky Mountains!
