As you lie in the King bed, look to your right and watch the city of Pigeon Forge glow. It is surreal...there is no better place to awake and it is a great way to end and start the day. The same can be said when relaxing in the large jacuzzi tub which is located in the loft as well.

About Kendall and Leina Luelf

My wife Leina and I (Kendall) got married in June of 2009. I previously worked in TN at a nuclear plant that is located about 2 hours from Pigeon Forge. I absolutely loved the area while I worked there and always wanted to go back. We now live in IL and I currently work at a nuclear plant locally, and my wife Leina works for a consulting firm. Last year we visited the area again and decided to look for property while we were there. We purchased our first cabin last year. It is called Closer To Heaven and is located in Wears Valley. We decided to rent it out while we weren't occupying it and quickly found that with my job, last minute vacations are tough to plan and the cabin was usually booked. We looked around for more property so that we could have a couple of choices when we visit and here we are!

Kendall and Leina Luelf purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Kendall and Leina Luelf chose Sevierville

We choose this property for two reason. First, the views. Pictures absolutely do not do them justice and the only description is 'truly stunning'. Second is the location. It is located only 5-10 miles from everything and this is SO convenient when driving mountainous roads. The cabin is very luxurious and well build with solid log construction.

What an amazing view!!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I really enjoyed the cabin, the view was outstanding and when we were there it snowed an inch or so and the mountains across the valley were snow capped!!! The cabin was nice, everything we needed for an adult getaway the hot tub was perfect and extremely private. I give it two thumbs up for sure and would love to visit again!!

Ladybug Lodge

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was beyond perfect, we are from FL and the goal was to see snow. The very first morning we woke up to snow!!! How awesome. The cabin was wonderful, has everything you need. We felt right at home (just a little colder then normal). I loved watching the sunrise from bed, there’s no better view then those Smokey Mountians. We also really loved sharing the cabin with a family of ladybugs. We thought it was a “lucky” feeling, so we called the cabin ladybug lodge. We made tons of memories and I took way too many photos, to say the least it was an unforgettable start to the new year!!!

Welcoming, whimsical, wily wonders!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely adored the gargantuan and picturesque views from the cabin! After strenuous hikes and the chaos of the city, the hot tub was a nice bonus. Even though the scoreboard didn’t work on the air hokey table, it was an engaging competition piece. Being at the top of the mountain, the seclusion was convenient! The guest book is a spectacular touch! With the ardor of simply touching a switch, the gas fireplace was a magnanimous addition. Weaknesses: with the hot tub, washer, and sink water, there is a strong, stringent smell of chlorine; it bleaches clothes. There’s also lady bugs everywhere in the cabin. We thought they were a symbol for the luck we received being able to frequent this gem of a cabin. The owners may want to mention in the introduction about possessing a smaller rental vehicle. The stairs are extra slippery, so wear shoes... Overall, we rate this cabin an A because of the view and the comfort of the cabin. Cannot wait for the next Eagle Landing at Eagle’s View!
