Beautiful location and comfortable Condo!
We took our grown son and 13 year old grandson along with one friend. The condo was perfect and very comfortable for all of us. I am so grateful we chose this location as the ocean lagoon was safe and fun for swimming and snorkeling. The grounds are immaculate and the staff excellent. We will definitely go back to this wonderful property!
Aloha and thank you for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed our Villa.
We receive many compliments on this Villa's ground floor location.
We would love to have you return any time.
Beautiful, serene views! Perfect for a memorable family vacation!
This was our second time staying in this unit. We came 4 years ago, stayed with our family of four plus my parents and made memories that were so special, we had to return. This time without my parents but with our 3 year old and our nanny. There is plenty of room to spread out for down time and being on the first floor meant no hassles getting in and out. Our youngest child has special needs and is not mobile. Being able to wheel her stroller out the back door and around the pool area to the beach was an essential part of us choosing this unit again. For the price, this property cannot be beat! We also booked two nights at the Disney Aulani property so our older children (11 and 8) could enjoy the water park there. We paid $600 for the cheapest room per night and although it was worth it to see the smiles on their faces, we couldn't help but laugh at the fact that we paid over $100 less per night for a huge condo compared to a small room overlooking the parking lot.
The reason we returned to Ko'Olina and will continue to is for the beaches and the walking path. We are a family that is always on this go at home in Seattle but in Ko'Olina, we just sit and relax. We swim, we play, we take long walks, we do cartwheels by the ocean, we lay on the beach, we laugh, we make memories. That's what it is all about.
We also felt like Ola Properties (the management company for this rental) really had their ducks in a row this time around compared to last. They even have an app for your phone that shares all pertinent info. It was very helpful to have numbers and details at our fingertips for check in and check out. We were met by one of the their staff (Vashon) on a Sunday afternoon when we checked in, he gave us a thorough walk-through of the unit, was friendly and jovial. We loved visiting Marcy and Derek at the bar next to the ocean for nightly cocktails. The atmosphere was lighthearted and upbeat - a great way to unwind after soaking in the sun.
We will return to Ko'Olina within the next year or two. It has become a special place for our family. You cannot go wrong with the Beach Villas too - truly the best value for what you get anywhere in Hawaii (trust me - I looked hard and it cannot be beat!)
Burial for family member
Other than the reason for the trip we had a great time at your property.
Beautiful and Perfect!
I can't say enough about this villa. It was beautiful and perfect for our family. Everything you could possibly want and more. The staff were all friendly helpful. Can't wait to go back!
Family of 3 generations holidays in Paradise
We had the pleasure of staying at this property 10 days in July. Though we have an over 24 hours travel from our home country, Hawaii is a most desirable destination for us. We have been in Oahu several times, staying in quite expensive hotels in Waikiki, and our problem there was the food, way too different from the one we are used to. So, the fantastic kitchen and the outdoor grill which allowed us to make some grilled beef, was really a plus! We also went a couple of restaurants near by, which are also great!
This is a comfortable, spacious and beautiful condo with a lovely lanai facing the garden. The lagoon pool and the beach at Lagoon 2 are just steps away, in case you are as lazy as I am. In such a location we expected to suffer some amount of noise. Forget it! Staff and people staying in Beach Villas were polite discreet and respectful, perhaps infected with the spirit of aloha! The property it's very well maintained, tranquil and safe. The condo was spotless clean and the bathrooms, immaculate.
Ko Olina itself is gorgeous, with its safe sandy lagoons and the long trail to walk or run. As a bonus, if you stay in summer you can relax at the lanai with a beer or a cocktail, reading and enjoying the breeze, the singing birds and the unmistakably delicious fragance of the plumerias in the garden! As Gershwin would said : Who can ask for anything more! If you want to see natural attractions and the historic, and cultural places in Oahu you do need a car.
The place was beyond our expectations, and the staff couldn't be more corteous and attentive to everything we needed.
Mahalo Vasha, Debi, Arlene and whole staff. I only hope I could stay again very soon!
