Built in 1880, the Bon Ton House is one of the original homes in the cherished Bon Ton Historic district that sits just steps away from the heart of downtown Bozeman.
Brought back to life by intensive renovations in 2014, the house offers fresh and clean accommodations while still retaining its historical charm. Hot water radiators, glass doorknobs and original hardwood floors give guests a taste of old Bozeman.
Located just two blocks South of Main Street in Bozeman’s lively downtown, Bon Ton House guests enjoy the convenience of an easy walk to many local restaurants and shops.
With a large, newly landscaped backyard, guests can relax under the shade of a large Maple tree, have a meal at the picnic table, or enjoy a small fire at the fire ring.
Wifi is always provided and an off-street parking pad is accessible from the alley. Guests may use the new laundry room at the back of the house where detergent is provided.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING OUR NOISE POLICY:
This is unit is located within a shared house, and rambunctious behavior including running, stomping, hollering, and wailing has the potential to disturb other guests staying on the property. Guests who choose to stay in this unit are expected to be respectful of other renters and refrain from these types of activities while on the property. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. While small gatherings are permitted before quiet hours (9pm), large parties and gatherings are NEVER permitted on the property. If there is any chance your group might not be able/willing to refrain from running, being boisterous, or hosting parties, we recommend finding a vacation rental facility better suited to your needs.

THIS APARTMENT (UNIT B) IS A TWO-BEDROOM UNIT WITH ONE QUEEN BED AND ONE FULL BED
This two-bedroom unit features one Queen bed and one Full bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with an oscillating fan for those who like to sleep with white noise. In each bedroom you'll find an alarm clock, tissues, luggage racks, and table lamps with power outlets for your electronic devices.
The newly renovated kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and is stocked with all the basics (dish soap, paper towels, aluminum foil, saran wrap, salt, pepper, olive oil, white wine vinegar, tea, coffee filters, coffee beans, sugar, creamer, toaster, coffee grinder, coffee maker).
The newly renovated bathroom features a shower, sink, and commode. Fresh towels, makeup removing wipes, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and a hairdryer are provided for use during your stay.
The living room features a big comfy couch, an electric fireplace, and a flatscreen TV hooked up to local channels and Netflix.

There are bike trails and hiking trails within walking distance of the house (Gallagator Trail and Peets Hill), beautiful historical neighborhoods to stroll through, and many unique locally owned shops, restaurants, and breweries just steps away in Bozeman's town center. A 15 minute drive in any direction takes you out of town where you can explore the world-class hiking, skiing, and mountain biking that our area has to offer. The Bon Ton House is a favorite for MSU parents and families visiting Bozeman. The house is located approximately 6 blocks N and 9 blocks E of Montana State University, an easy 20 minute walk. You can also grab the free local Streamline bus in front of the house, which has a stop at the Strand Union building on campus.

Why the Owner Chose Bozeman, Montana, United States of America:
When we bought the house in 2012, it had been run into the ground as a neglected long-term rental. Even in its dilapidated state, the house still had a wonderful feel and we knew that if we didn't bring it back from the brink it might be lost forever. Working intensely for over a year, with the help of friends and family, we renovated and refreshed every square inch of the property. It was important to us that we retain the charming 19th century feel of the home so we saved the original windows, trim, interior doors, glass doorknobs, hot water radiatiors, and hardwood flooring. With new fixtures and furnishings, the Bon Ton House is the perfect combination of historical charm and modern comfort. Possibly the oldest and largest Norway Maple tree in Gallatin Valley stands as the cornerstone of the backyard. Under the shade of this amazing tree, we installed flagstone walkways through a beautiful green lawn and natural stone patios featuring a large picnic table and fire ring with firewood provided free for guests. After restoring both the house and yard, we furnished each of the three apartments with hand-picked decor and stocked each unit with all the luxuries you would expect from a high-end vacation rental. We make it our goal to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests at this beautiful and charming piece of Montana history.
