Aina Nalu Unit# K210 is a remodeled, upstairs, end Unit with new furnishings and new air conditioners in each living area. Upstairs you benefit from having a much brighter open atmosphere afforded by skylights, vaulted ceilings, and ceiling fans high overhead.

Being located at the Aina Nalu Resort, every guest can admire and benefit from the tropically landscaped grounds, the fresh water pool and barbeque areas, the saline infinity pool and jetted spa next to the beautifully decorated club house with a flat screen television, soda machine, kitchen, and common area books and games. There is also a nice concierge booth to book any activity or adventure you can imagine with knowledgeable staff, and of course you are within walking distance to everything, restaurants, shopping, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, and the harbor which Lahaina has to offer the traveler.

Inside Unit# K210 both bedrooms have king beds and are separated by the living room with a queen pull out sofa sleeper and large wall mounted flat screen television. Great for couples traveling together. The master bedroom has a new Sony 48' flat screen TV also wall mounted and decorator paint. The guest bedroom feels like a 2nd master bedroom with flat screen television. Both bathrooms have walk in slate showers, plenty of room, and granite counter tops. The guest bathroom includes the washer and dryer and a ceiling fan which is a nice benefit after stepping out of the shower. There are lots of trees and plants shading the lanai affording you a sense of privacy. Very affordable. Please reserve and book far in advance or fill open slots. Only a two night minimum stay required.

About Giulietta Latva & Steven Daiker

Giulietta and Steve are both professional property managers and operate the Kingvale Lodge in California on Donner Summit. We both ski in the Winter and Giulietta surfs in the Summer. We previously owned at The Whaler at Kaanapali Beach but have since found ourselves spending more time in downtown Lahaina. We purchased this property in Lahaina so Giulietta could be closer to great surfing and for the better weather while on island.

Because it has it all! Particularly pleasing is that you can walk to most everything and Aina Nalu resort can be enjoyed without having a vehicle while on island. Shuttle services drop you right at the front desk from the Kahului airport. Try SpeediShuttle or Hawaii Executive Transportation.

What makes this condo unique

We chose this particular Unit because of the close location to Front Street and the Breakwall surfing. We like the end Units particularly. The lanai is shaded with trees and the tropical plants give us privacy. The saline infinity pool is a real benefit rarely experienced elsewhere. I have everything here I want at my fingertips!

We were very impressed with this property and would certainly love to stay here again. Everything about our stay was exceptional. Condo has very nice furnishings and comfortable beds. The bathrooms and showers are excellent. only negative part is the ridiculous $20/day parking. (I would tell others there is parking lot a block away that will make you a deal for a week that amounts to $10/day) It was nice to be close to all the restaurants and shopping in Lahiena.

A great place to stay!

We had a wonderful time here! The apartment was large for our family of three, and we always felt comfortable here. The kitchen was well-equipped. The climate control worked well. We were especially fond of the location, which was close enough to walk into central Lahaina, but which was so quiet that the noise we heard the most of was the singing of birds in the giant banyan tree out front. We parked on the street, and never had to walk more than half a block to get to the unit. We were able to walk to the harbor and the supermarket. It was a great experience, and I hope to return one day.

Spacious, Upgraded, Accommodations for Excellent Value!

My family of 4 including 2 adults, a 5 year old and a 2 year old visited this condo in early March. We were very pleased with the condo, especially for the price we paid!

The 2 bedrooms were very spacious, nicely decorated and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large! The kitchen has everything I needed to prepare meals including pots, pans and utensils, even a drawer of tupperware! The washer and dryer worked well and were a convenient amenity to have. There is a wall mounted AC unit in each bedroom and in the living room and fans in every room. The AC units are on timers and shut off after 4 hours but work quite quickly to cool the place down.

The location was a convenient 5 minute walk from Front Street and a quick 3 to 5 minute drive to our favourite - Baby Beach. The complex is very well kept and has a tropical retreat type feel with beautiful tropical vegetation everywhere. The complex is quite large but the location of this unit is right on the outskirts facing the street/front entrance which made for easy access to and from the unit. Parking is pricey, you can park on the street for free but finding a spot can be tricky. We paid for parking because the location of our unit made it very convenient to load and unload the kids and beach gear. We did not hear any noise from the neighbouring units, except for one night when some people were playing their music loudly which didn't last long. The windows are screened with slatted glass shutters, so in the morning be prepared to wake up with the birds and if you are a light sleeper you may hear people closing car doors and people walking down the walkway between the units but overall we were not disturbed by any noise because of it.

Finally, the owners were awesome to deal with. We communicated through email and were provided with an entry code for the door prior to our arrival so there was no need to meet with a management company, we were able to let ourselves in.

Some considerations for parents with littles:

-There is no elevator so you have to carry the stroller up and down the stairs

-There are sky windows up high in the unit which provide lots of natural light during the day which is nice...unless your children rise with the sun in which case prepare for early morning wake ups :)

-There are no bathtubs in the unit, our children quickly adapted to showers!

None of these things greatly impacted our stay, I just think fellow parents would like to know!

Clean, close to town.

This is our third time at Aina Nalu and we love it. This condo was well equipped and clean. We like that it is close enough to Lahaina to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Thanks for a great vacation.

Car: not necessary

Aina Nalu is located a block from Front Street where it all happens. No need for a rental car, everything is withing walking distance. We can recommend a shuttle from the airport to the Unit. The two most competitively priced shuttles are SpeediShuttle and Hawaii Executive Transportation. There are many wonderful restaurants to choose from. I like Captain Jacks for their coconut shrimp. There is tons of shopping with plenty of jewelry and clothing everywhere, a shoppers dream. Foodland grocery store is nearby. I like the creamy wasabi poke at the Foodland. All kinds of activities. My favorite is surfing at the Lahaina Breakwall which is also within walking distance. The best place to learn to surf is at Goofy Foot Surf School. You are within walking distance to the marina where you can sign up for boat activities, fishing, scuba, diving, jet skis, kayaks, canoes, parasailing, kite surfing, and paddleboarding.

Kaanapali Beach is about 10 minutes North of Lahaina and has one of the best beaches in the world. Snorkeling can be found right there at the Black Rock. After a day at this beach, you do not want to miss the Tiki Bar at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Have one of Dale's mai tai's and a cheeseburger or a mahi mahi sandwich.

We still have more to see and do and eat!
