Understair storage for beach equipment. Fully stocked kitchen, Senseo coffee maker, ironing board, hair dryer free wifi. Tastefully decorated with art work from areas surrounding St.Ives.

About Adele Husband

About me – I am married to Chris and have two lovely grown up daughters. We have owned this apartment since 2007 and have spent many happy holidays here with the girls. We love the beauty and character of this small fishing village which is now a vibrant hub for artists. As a young child I holidayed here and with my parents. Our daughters have all but grown up and as we live some distance from here we decided to let out the apartment to other families to make memories and enjoy.

All the home comforts you expect with world class beaches a short walk away, Porthminster Beach for relaxed bathing with the kids, or there is Porthmoer Beach if you surf. Top class restaurants, minutes’ walk from your location, or you can travel further afield and explore the many culinary delights in the surrounding areas, as well as the stunning scenery Cornwall has to offer. I home from home with some of best views, beaches and experiences anywhere all the ingredients for a holiday to remember!

What makes this apartment unique

The original building the apartment is located in was constructed at the turn of the 19th Century, the development and conversion into individual apartments has been done very sympathetically with regard to the original features being retained. A marble fire place, high ceilings with beautifully re produced ornate cornice. A magnificent feature bay window in the lounge with a spectacular view of St Ives Bay. The bathrooms are tastefully fitted out with natural Turkish stone tiles. There are quality fittings including a sizable shower plus jacuzzi bath in the main bathroom. When you go on holiday, you need to feel the place you stay in is special, different to home, the view as you sit in the bay window gives you that feeling, as soon as you see it you know your are on holiday!

Lovely apartment with fantastic views

We could not of wished for a better holiday break. The whole experience was great. The apartment was more than we expected with great facilities, views and a welcoming touches. St Ives is a fantastic place to visit along with other surrounding places in the area. The Cornwall weather was kind to us and we are looking to visit again. Thank you for making this a holiday to remember.

Lovely apartment, ideal location with great views

Very clean apartment with lovely hot showers, comfortable beds and everything you could need. The views from the window are fabulous, great having the chairs in the window to sit and watch the sea. Having a parking space is a necessity in St Ives & the location of the apartment is ideal for walking to the town or beach. We’ve stayed in St Ives for 25 years in many different apartments and this is up there with the best.

A beautifully appointed apartment, with a stunning view!

What a great find! Travelling as two couples, this was the perfect accommodation. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped, and has been decorated and appointed to a very high standard. We enjoy cooking so made full use of the kitchen facilities - and it is very well equipped indeed. The fact that there are two bathrooms was a huge bonus - no queues in the morning. And the views over the bay were a real bonus - lovely to sit in the bay window and take it all in. The location is out of the town centre, but so close that we didn't find it an issue at all. On the plus side, it means that you get a parking space - and can work off a few calories walking back up the hill! We loved our stay in this apartment, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Outstanding Property, spacious and clean.

The property is on the second floor of a large home that has been changed to apartments. The size in generous, the place was clean and location was fine for St.Ives or as a base for day trips out of St. Ives. You can see the St. Ives harbor from the front windows which is a little thing but nice. The location is an uphill walk from St. Ives but it only took 13 minutes from the Sloop Inn to the front door.

Kudo's to the owners for their organization in terms of helpful documents for renters. The apartment is tastefully decorated and thoughtful in layout.

Special thanks to the house keepers who do a great job on keeping the place clean and presentable. I have stayed at two of the best rental houses in St. Ives in previous years and none were as clean as this one.

I will be renting again on my next trip.

Perfect stay

This apartment has everything. It is so beautiful and comfortable, has a parking space and superb views. You will find yourself sat relaxing for ages gazing at the harbour and along the coast! The apartment is just a couple of minutes walk to Porthminster beach and then a few minutes stroll to all the cafes, restaurants and of course the harbour.

Adele and Chris made us very welcome and as such our stay in St Ives was made all the more enjoyable. If you book this apartment you will not be disappointed: We weren't!

ps Don't forget to try the Jacuzzi bath!
