Excellent

  • 5 of 5

Photos provided were very representative of the property & its features. Our grandchildren loved it. Close to the beach and other businesses & restaurants in the area. The back alley, where you enter the garage, is adjacent to a 24 hour gas station on the PCH/Rte. 101. Security at the property was great.

Fantastic vacation home- a must stay!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing property- so comfortable, you feel right at home! The house is so beautiful and the garden so lush! So much charm and the artwork is fantastic! Plenty of space for families, we loved the different levels of the house for privacy and comfort for all of us to enjoy. Tons of space with three huge bedrooms, three baths, three living rooms and a very well stocked state-of-the art kitchen with all the upgrades! The roof top hot tub was a huge hit, with an Ocean View and seating for us, the kids fully enjoyed in the evenings while we cooked dinner. We loved the accommodations of the hot tub, bikes, boogie boards, cart, coolers, etc- and off to the beach you walk! We ate out a ton with the town being so trendy and fun.. amazing food for everyone to enjoy. Quick walk to beach, shops, coffee shops, groceries, brew pubs, restaurants. Literally, you are in the heart of the town.

Can't wait to return!

Like a 5 star hotel

  • 5 of 5

What a gift this place was for our family vacation. We had high expectations of this home from the pictures and description online and were still amazed and delighted. Very spacious with tons of room to get away from each other. Loved reading on the roof while my daughter enjoyed the hot tub, amazing views. The master suite was so relaxing, we are missing the comfortable king bed already. Just a short walk or bike ride to a beautiful beach. Also, don't miss out on the Thursday farmer's market in the morning and a sunset market in the evening. Just 3 blocks away.

The management company checked in with us multiple times and was very helpful.

My kids can't wait to go back and neither can I.

I'm coming back!

  • 5 of 5

I loved it here and I'm really looking forward to my next visit. Situated just a couple blocks from the beach and close, but not too close, to tasty restaurants and bars made this location really ideal for us. We could easily get around and see the sights, but had plenty of privacy to get some much needed relaxation in. We always either walked or biked around town (beach cruisers provided), and made an easy bike trip into the neighboring town of Carlsbad.

The home itself has absolutely everything you would ever need with beautiful finishes throughout: large living areas with a HUGE updated kitchen plus dining, spacious office, three large bedrooms on one floor, and my favorite part - the roof-top lanai with hot tub! The home is huge and very comfortable/inviting. I was there with friend's, but I'm sure it would be a great place for families as well. With an office and internet available you could get work done while away, but I chose to avoid it myself.

I'm a big fan and have already started planning my next trip back this upcoming spring! Oceanside has charmed me. It's very easy going with a small city vibe, but vibrant and fun with tons to do. Go there!

Perfect vacation getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is an awesome property! The house is downright amazing and the location is fantastic. Three bedrooms that easily sleep six adults, plus three couches (and I think there is an air mattress too). This would be perfect for either a family or a group of friends. It sits about 4 blocks from the beach and in the garage is a wagon to haul everything and five beach cruisers to get around. It is also walking distance from several great coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. If you like beer, there is a really cool Stone Brewing tap room just a couple of blocks from the house.

And after all that if you want to just sit around, the house has outdoor seating on each level: There is a front porch with seating, a balcony off the master, and a hot tub on the roof. There are also a table and chairs on the roof if you get too hot in the tub. Great place to watch the sun set over the ocean. There is a huge TV on the main floor with a leather couch that is perfect for lounging after a hard day of lounging on the beach. Tons of media options including a Roku. On the second floor is an entire additional living room with the same media setup and another couch. No need to argue about what to watch.

TL:DR - this place rocks, rent it.

Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

We came here looking for a respite from the Pacific Northwest's grey winter weather. Literally everything exceeded our expectations. The house is *very* nice. It’s about four blocks from the beach, and also about four blocks or so from a variety of restaurants, brew pubs, coffee shops, etc. We were here in November, and the weather was sunny and 80 degrees - couldn’t have been nicer.

Some highlights: The master bedroom is gigantic, and it’s accompanied by an equally huge and luxurious master bathroom. We started and ended every day on the top floor - a rooftop sitting area with a very nice hut tub and an ocean view. The first floor has a really nice kitchen with everything you could possibly need to feel at home - plates, pots, pans, grill, blender, etc. There’s a large (very clean) gas grill outside that makes grilling really convenient. The large table can easily fit 8 people. One unexpected surprise that became a cornerstone of our stay - the bikes! There are five bikes (and locks) in the garage. They’re all in great shape and ready to cruise. We rode all five around Oceanside and even into Carlsbad. There’s also bike path close to the house that connects to harbor, and you can always head to the Stand and just cruise. There’s a sturdy wagon in the garage that can be loaded up with food/toys and pulled to the beach. There’s a soccer ball, football, a few boogie boards, and a smash ball set in the garage, so really all you need to do is show up!

Again, everything about this house (and Oceanside) greatly exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!
