Our beautifully updated condo is located just minutes from the town of Winter Park, Winter Park Ski Area, Pole Creek Golf Club, Grand Elk Ranch and Golf Club, Colorado Adventure Park, Fraser Valley Sports Complex, Granby Ranch, Sol Vista Ski Area, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, and YMCA of the Rockies. A short additional drive will take you to Grand Lake. Convenient shuttle service is available to and from Winter Park during ski season, and stops directly across the street!

This comfortable 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom unit sleeps 4-5 people, with a queen-sized bed in one bedroom, plus a full-sized futon bed and one twin bed in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully-equipped for those with culinary aspirations, including a coffee maker, coffee grinder, rice cooker, crockpot, blender, microwave oven, pots/pans and kitchen utensils. Enjoy the two flat screen TV’s with cable television, DVD/VCR player, and GameCube. We have a very large collection of movies and board games available in the unit! Wireless internet is also available in the condo free of charge.

Our large private deck backs to open space and the river, with a lovely view of the mountains, so you can relax in one of the large rocking chairs, eat breakfast on the outdoor patio set, or hang up a swinging chair! In the winter you will stay warm using our gas fireplace.

A common area clubhouse is also available to guests, providing free wireless internet access, two hot tubs, a sauna, game/TV room, and coin laundry facilities. The common grounds include multiple outdoor grills, picnic tables, and a sand volleyball court.

The Fraser River Trail begins at our complex and continues into the town of Winter Park - great for running, mountain biking, or a brisk walk to the conveniently located grocery store. During the summer we have family bicycles for your use, as well as coolers, folding camp chairs, and fishing poles. The July 4th fireworks are incredible, and can be viewed from our deck. Hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing and snowmobile trails are all easily accessed from this location. Fishing spots are located all along the river. The town of Winter Park offers wonderful shopping and restaurants, as well as the new Grand Park Community Recreation Center with pool and lazy river, climbing wall, fitness center and disc golf course; and recently built The Foundry Cinema and Bowl, with bowling alley, bar, pizza, and a movie theatre with luxury stadium seating.

Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Area boasts some of the best skiing and powder in Colorado, with everything from terrain parks, to groomers, to moguls. During the summer the area opens for scenic chairlift rides, hiking, Colorado’s longest alpine slide, a mini-golf course, incredible mountain biking, and more.

Why Cynthia Fortes / Suzanne Taylor chose Winter Park Area

Cynthia learned to ski at the Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Area in 1976 and it has remained one of her favorite places for skiing and running. Her husband, Milo, learned to snowboard here after moving from California, and her children have been involved in the Competition Center programs, and Junior Ski Patrol during the winter for many years. Bob and Suzanne are now retired, and enjoy the summers golfing and fishing in the Fraser Valley. We decided to purchase this condo together many years ago for personal use, due to the beautiful and convenient location, and would love to share our mountain 'home' with you. ** Owner is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Colorado.

What makes this condo unique

This property has an unbelievable private deck with views of the mountains and the sound of rushing water from the stream running just outside. This quiet, peaceful setting, along with the large windows and natural light in the condo, sold us on the purchase. The convenient shuttle stop across the street, and community hot tubs, are a great bonus!

We had a great time. The condo was perfect for 4 adults - plenty of room. Very clean, cozy, and convenient. Bus stop to the ski mountain was right across the street. Market right down the road. Would highly recommend this condo - Cynthia was very helpful and easy to work with. Will consider staying here again.

Nice home base for exploring the area...

This is a very nicely kept little condo with everything you need for a fun visit to the area. The owners are easy to work with and very responsive. The location is nice with a short walk to the Fraser River trail and it has a small feeder creek running right past the deck and bedroom making it very peaceful. Easy walking distance to the Safeway and restaurants. Easy driving distance to hiking, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and even Rocky Mountain National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay and great communication with owner

We had a great stay at Cynthia's place. The place was welcoming and very clean. The condo worked perfectly for the 3 of us. Queen size bed in master bedroom and a twin + full in bedroom #2.

The fireplace place was nice to have while relaxing in the evening and the couch was very comfortable.

The condo was remodeled with new bathroom, new kitchen and new floor. We enjoyed the new carpet in the living room and nice tile in the kitchen and entry way which makes it easy to keep things clean when walking in.

Parking is right in front of the unit. Although we didn't use the kitchen, we saw that it was well appointed.

WIFI worked great as well.

The condo is conveniently located to Winter Park. It took perhaps 15 minutes at the very most to get to the slopes by car. We saw that there is a bus stop across the street, so this location seems convenient also for someone without a personal vehicle.

The unit above us was occupied during our stay, but there was no issue with noise in the evening or night.

We spent the day at Winter Park watching our daughter participate in a ski race competition.

We had dinner at two of the local restaurants (Deno's: quite loud dining experience but the food was super yummy; Smoke house BBQ: family friendly BBQ place. We really enjoyed our meal).

We will definitely try to book this unit again during one of our future visits.

Cozy and comfortable

Stayed for a weekend: very nice, easy to find, easy parking, clean, comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay here again. We had our three young children and there was plenty of room - the two lofted beds worked especially well.

Great condo and great location

The condo is nice and clean. The heaters and fireplace worked great and kept the place nice and warm. I have stayed at other places in Fraser very similar to this condo that were considerably cheaper, we booked this place kind of last minute, so the selections were limited. The place is great, I think it is just priced a little too high.

Owner's Response: We were happy to accommodate you at the last minute, and also for only two nights (many condos require a 3 night minimum stay!). Our nightly rates are very much in line with similar condos in the Fraser area during ski season. It's actually more affordable than staying at a hotel! (And with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - Bonus!).

If you are looking for a place around Fraser this is it!!!

The owner was fantastic to deal with from the start, along with great communication anytime needed. Her response time was immediate any time we contacted her. The unit is fantastic with extra bonuses that were not expected nor found in most rental properties. Our families stay here was fantastic. Next time we plan a trip to Colorado I hope this property is available for rent. This property was a great value considering what you get versus cost to rent.
