About Colette Brady
We sailed to Sardinia in a gap year which lasted 5 years! Only the pull of family drew us back to live in UK, where we set up our own Leather studio and Art Gallery on Dartmoor National Park, called Artisan. When we are not making leather or selling beautiful handmade ceramics, wooden products and jewellery, we are either walking our 2 cocker spaniels or Martin will be found recording in his music studio or playing with his band. We have 7 grandchildren who are all bi-lingual. 2 in English and Italian and 5 English and French. Our Italian is pretty good, but sadly at the expense of our French. Travelling overland does allow us to stop off at Lyon and visit the 'French' family en route to Sardinia!
Colette Brady purchased this Villa in 2007
Why Colette Brady chose Perd'e Sali
We fell in love with the location because of the perfect balance between privacy & peace and accessibility. Sardinia stole our hearts with the combination of unspoilt beauty and its' friendly people, who made us feel so welcome. After spending a winter in Cagliari and touring the island both by sea and land we decided that there were fewer nicer places to live and create a new life than Perd'e Sali, with its' local community all year round. The marina is a great place to meet the 'neighbours' and everyone is very friendly and welcoming and will try and practice their English if your Italian is 'poco'. We love the outdoor laid back lifestyle and having everything we might need so close at hand. Pula is the loveliest town we have found in Sardinia. It maintains its' local feel whilst doing a great job at entertaining visitors with class and style. There are great restaurants, shops and plenty of entertainment in a pretty town which could win Sardinia in Bloom.
What makes this Villa unique
Superb views, privacy and accessibility to all you need within a short walk or drive. We have also created an automatically pop up irrigation system for the lawned garden which offers a lovely space to enjoy playing with the family in and around the pool. The outdoor lounge space is perfect for enjoying a BBQ or watching the children in the pool

Stayed as 4 friends to celebrate a special wedding anniversary and couldn't have picked better! The Villa was clean and well stocked and the welcome bottle of wine and fruit was much appreciated. Lovely clean swimming pool, just a shame that one of the four sun beds was broken. Sandra was really quick to pick up the txt message to meet us with the keys and helped to settle us in! Beds were very clean and comfortable, slight problem with the hot water upstairs but downstairs was fine. On encountering a problem with the wifi and Sky tv, we contacted the owner who was very quick to reply and help us to solve the problems! We quickly became acquainted with the local supermarket in Pula which stocked everything we needed, including some really lovely steaks and chops for the BBQ.The town of Cagliari is charming and the beaches are to die for-all in all a perfect, relaxing week was had by all. It took us a little while to work out the recycling system but as they say " when in Rome!" Would thoroughly recommend this fabulous Villa.
Lovely villa and good position, pool was very well used!
A bit surprised we had to request cleaning as it was not a matter of course. Meal provided by Sandra very good, but expensive.
Thanks for your comments Richard. The changeover cleaning is included but additional cleaning can be paid direct to our Housekeeper during your stay if required. The meal was complimentary as you had made a 2 week booking, and will be refunded as soon as you supply your bank details.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The villa was well equipped and comfortable, and we had a very warm welcome from Sandra when we arrived. The only difficulty from our perspective was that the villa was not really suitable for small children (the open staircase in particular). We still had a great stay, but for anyone with toddlers a bit younger than our three year old, I think it would be stressful. The wifi connection was also really patchy. Otherwise though, we really liked it, and it was a great base for exploring some lovely scenery.
Lovely villa set in a secluded location
We recently stayed at this lovely villa for five nights, the villa is spotless and has everything you need. The large pool was a godsend as the temperature was in the 30's.
Sandra the housekeeper was absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough to settle us in.
There are some very nice restaurants in nearby Pula , the restaurant in the port near the villa was very disappointing , you definitely need a car.
Great villa - close to Marina and beach
Wonderful villa in South West Sardegna. Close to Marina where you can organise diving tours, boat trips and rent small motor boat to navigate along the coast. 10 minutes drive to Pula - cosy Little village with many restaurants and shopping. Nice Beach in 5 minutes walk. 25 minutes drive to Chia Beach.
The house has all needed equipment and is well maintained. Housekeeper Sandra was really helpful and friendly. Organised a dinner in the house with Sardinian specialties. Very tasty !
Pool was clean and clear Water.
Only remark would be that the owner insist on guests collecting their used toiletpaper in small plastic bags rather that flushing it in the toilet. You might find this a bit bizarre in a house of this standard.
In any case we can really recommend the house to anyone who would like to stay close to Beach in a nice and fairly quiet part of Sardegna.
