Cozy, accessible, comfortably furnished 3-br, 2-bath home, sleeps 6.
This summery cottage is ideal for couples, friends, writers , small families, or others seeking a quiet spot to relax while being a stone's throw from all the natural, sporting, historic, and foodie attractions that Jamestown and Rhode Island have to offer. The house is newly furnished in classic summer cottage style, with two equally nice queen bedrooms with plenty of closet and dresser space, wall mirrors, and bedside lighting, and a third bedroom/office with a twin pop-up trundle with quality mattresses and a desk and printer, making this a good home for an extended stay with the option of keeping in touch at work if needed, or to work on that novel. The extendable dining table seats six. There is a large bathroom with tub and shower on the hall; second bathroom with shower in one of the queen bedrooms; and an outdoor shower.
The house is on a corner steps away from the arts center, library, playground, artisanal bakery, and convenience store; 5-10 minutes' walks to the village bars, restaurants, shops, ferry landing, market, liquor store, and pizza; and 12 minutes walk (or 5 min bike ride) to the lovely, safe beach. Beavertail Light, farmers markets, and historic sites are within 5-10 minutes' drive. There is a deck with table/umbrella for seating 6 and a gas grill in the large yard, fenced for privacy. The house has wi-fi and cable, with a smart TV for streaming from your Netflix or Prime account. It is fully equipped, with good bed and table linens, beach towels, hair dryer, washer and dryer, books and cookbooks, and all essential kitchen utensils, cookware, and serving pieces. You can make yourself at home.

It suited our needs just wished it was closer to the water
The location was convenient but more than a 10 minute walk to the beach. More like 20 minutes. House could use some refreshing and a teakettle is needed. Nice to be able to walk to restaurants
We are so sorry to hear that the house was not as close of a walk to the beach as you would have preferred! In the future we recommend taking a look at the map and address of a house before renting it to avoid any confusion on your part!
