Comfortable base for traveling in Wyoming

  • 5 of 5

Easy trip into Thermopolis. Adequate kitchen. Great to have a washer and dryer. Bathroom vanity didn't have lighting when I visited. A radio would be a helpful addition to the house. Wifi is reliable.

Owners are available and helpful!

There is so much to see and do beyond visiting the thermal springs.

Great place to stay!

The cabin is so cute and clean, and my kiddos really loved all the animals. We were very happy with our experience.

Great property, great owners.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was first rate, the owners live next door and were fantastic. We were hunting antelope in the local area. We stayed 8 days and Harrold was very helpful in suggesting areas to hunt and recommending a local wild game meat processor. We all had a successful hunt and enjoyed our stay immensely. I will definitely try to stay there the next time I'm in Thermopolis.

I really like the property except a couple of things.

  • 4 of 5

Harold thank you for letting us stay at your nice property. It is perfect for what my brother and I need it for. We

fished the canyon and wanted a clean nice place to rest up. It is much nicer than staying at any motel in town.

I know it is close to the hot springs or something but that was the drawback. It did smell like sulpher at times

very strong. But if you close the windows and turn on the 2 air conditioning units for a while it was not bad at

all. The other strange thing was the nats or fruit flies? I do not know how they get in because of the screens on

the windows but there were a lot of them, but for some unknown reason, (by the way we are 2 old men), we leave

the bathroom light on at night for a couple of trips in the night, most of the flies were in the shower the next

morning were dead so I washed them down the drain. Keeping the windows closed after that , we did not have many flies left

for the rest of the stay. All in all it is a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it. Keep the windows

closed. By the way loved the sheep!

Nice & Cozy

  • 4 of 5

Very nice and cozy cabin we had a fun little get away. While there it did nothing but rain and it was chilly we asked the owner to please turn the heat on. It took sometime since it was the first time this season it had been started but he got it going quickly. I loved how we could look out our window and see the cute farm animals. Right before we left I took my 4 yr old up to the fence to see the sheep...I don't know much about farm animals but I could tell one of the sheeps leg was hurt maybe even broken it was kind of disturbing and sad to see my son even got sad I sure hope that the animal is getting the care it needs! Other then that we had a good stay and I would recommend the cabin to others. Thank you.

Owner's Response: Hi Brianna, thanks for your review. The sheep you saw was born with that problem, she actually had two malformed legs but we worked with them and got one leg to work. Come back and see us again, Harold.
