Words cannot describe how amazing this place is- you truly must see it to fully appreciate it! The house is clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. And the location is breathtaking! We loved grilling dinner on the barbecue while the kids played outside in the ocean mere steps away, then eating outside watching the waves roll in the the fishing boats come and go. The hosts are friendly and helpful and we are so glad they decide to share their seaside shanty with us!
We have stayed at several great vacation rentals across the continent but this one takes the cake! Can’t wait to return!
Beautiful view and outdoor space! Friendly and helpful hosts!!
Fantastic place to stay!
This is a wonderful little house, right on the water. Everything represented in the pictures is just how the place is, and it is very soothing and relaxing there. We had a wonderful time and will go back as soon as we can...we loved it! It's a great place to rejuvenate. Fred and Barb are great hosts, too.
Bird- Absolutely beautiful!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..it was so quaint and cozy with a breath taking view of fishing boats at the wharf... Overall a very relaxing stay and we hope to return next year
We had a fantastic stay at the Seaside Shanty. My children (3 and 5 years) had a great time combing the adjacent beaches for seaglass, shells, and little critters (crabs, mussels, etc.), and watching the boat/fishing activity at the warf. The view from the deck makes this shanty a very special place to stay. The steps to the second floor were quite steep, which wasn't a problem for adults, but a bit tricky for the kids, and the bedrooms have large beds, but the rooms themselves were quite small (which was fine with us). We were asked to keep water use low through the use of bottled water, paper plates, limited flushing, etc. There is lots to see and do in the area. Overall a fantastic stay. Thank-you!
Just a beautiful cottage on the waterfront with a breathtaking view. Fred and Barb are the most generous hosts. Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot.
