Our ocean view, 3 bedroom -2 bath condo is steps to the sand in Playa del Rey’s beachside community.
The cozy unit sleeps 6+ is freshly painted, stocked and set up for beach fun: kitchen supplied for cooking with amenities including coffee, teas, sugar, and spices - high thread-count linens, bathrobes, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers - supplies for days in the sand including beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towel, coolers and toys for the kids.
Enjoy a view of the yacht races and incredible sunsets from the balcony. Escape crowded beaches with the one in the backyard mainly frequented by locals.
This hideaway is nestled within the exclusive few block area surrounded by Santa Monica Bay to the west, Marina del Rey and Ballona Creek to the north, and Del Rey Lagoon to the east.
The property is one building and approximately 50 yards to the sand with direct view of the ocean. Please note: some map apps are incorrectly placing the address 1.5 blocks from its actual location. We are between Speedway & Pacific Avenues on 64th.
Next to the bike path, Olympian volleyball practice nets, and near marina bike, kayak and boat rentals. It’s an ideal location for families or couples.
A short walk to the village restaurants, pubs and markets, allows guests to forget about driving for their stay.
With the recently opened Playa Provisions Restaurant and Bacari Wine Bar opening late July 2014, Playa eateries within walking distance are on the rise.

Welcome the day prior to Thanksgiving was warm and extra special with pie and turkey cookie. Loved being able to walk to restaurants and hanging out on the beach with adult kids for family reunion. Highly recommend! Thank you Cheryl.
This is our families 2nd time staying at this rental the past year. Everything that was stated the first time applied this time as well. Nice kitchen with newer appliances were nice. Though we walked to many of the local restaurants this time, so didn't really utilize the kitchen this time around. Beds were very comfortable. The beach, the park, restaurants/bars are all within a short walk (beach literally across the street). I love the welcome basket that Cheryl leaves for you upon arrival, very nice touch. Weather was great this past weekend, so we spend some time each day at the beach. Last visit was in winter so we really didn't visit the beach. There is also a nice hiking/biking trail right out front that we used for a morning jog. Looking forward to our trip back next year.
Thank you Cheryl for a fabulous stay in your beautiful home. My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much. It was the perfect place for our small reunion. A very comfortable home for all of us to hang out together. The parking was an absolute bonus.
The beach truly is a few steps away and the park across the street was much appreciated by our little grandson. We kept our trip casual by ordering in great food from your local restaurants. My daughter enjoyed her early morning runs and I enjoyed my evening stroll. We felt very safe in this unique neighbourhood.

The condo was perfect for our family of 6. We felt like it was my home away from home. Very comfy and relaxing atmosphere. Cheryl provided us with lots of extras and was very accommodating to anything we needed. Beach chairs, beach towels, family games, toys, snacks, wifi worked great! The location was a nice and quiet area steps to the beach. We absolutely loved this condo and would recommend to friends and family. I will definitely be renting this unit for future vacations. “King’s Beach,” has long been an escape within the bustle of Los Angeles since the days of Cecil B. Demille, Mary Pickford and Fatty Arbuckle who all had homes in Playa del Rey. Playa still has a quaint small time feel and is one of the unspoiled beaches of Los Angeles.
