Quaint

  • 3 of 5

First, I would like to express positive feedback. The management company was very accommodating to our needs. We were building a house and needed to stay a week longer, and they had no issue with doing that. I appreciated that courtesy. We stayed for a month.

They allow dogs which were great. The porch you see in the picture is a very inviting space. We enjoyed this. Unfortunately, we were not there in the season. It is behind Port Royal Marina.

It is a townhouse with several others that rent permanently and then folks like us.

The kitchen has been updated and is not bad. The toaster is cheap and does not work, so I had to buy one. Also, they do not have a garbage disposal or a removable catcher for the food, I also went out and bought one. They have most stuff available for you. I brought most of my own.

The couches are old and need to be updated not very comfortable. The beds are terrible. I had the saggy one. I went to Costco and got a Tempur-Pedic mattress pad, and that did not help all. They need to replace the beds. The TV has cable and internet.

You pay for cleaning when you depart, but I am not sure what happen with the cleaning before us moving in because the place was pretty dirty when we arrived.

No washer and dryer. You have to take the garbage out to the dumpster at the top of the hill.

You need to buy your toilet paper, paper towels, and trash liners they do not leave you with much.

They jack and jill bath are pretty gross. The tub is rusted, and the water pressure is not okay. The place kind of slants and it happens in the bathroom. The stick em floor is starting to come up.

They try to make it cozy but it does need some new furniture, and maybe a bathroom fitter tub put in.

The neighbors are friendly a little noisy for my liking. One neighbor has a yappy barking dog.

I would look at first to make sure it will work for you. The sofas are not pullout beds, so the most you can have in there is comfortably three max. The beds are full I think at least one of them is.

All in all for us it worked I would not have been able to go another day without my stuff and myspace.

Very comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Overall, we were very pleased with the unit. The area was quiet and the neighbors very friendly. The number 1 request is a bigger coffee pot!

The beds were comfortable but the mattress in the front room is sagging on one side. We were a family of 4 visiting for Thanksgiving and we spent a lot of time there. The furniture arrangement did not allow us to sit together and watch 1 TV. Suggest having the love seat in the main sitting area and put kitchen table in corner. An island for prep and pantry storage in middle of room would be fabulous. The 2nd TV serves no purpose as it did not have a cable box or DVD player...there would be a volume war as well if 2 were going at once. Cable for the bedroom TV would be a plus. Additional serving pieces in kitchen would be helpful...dishes and utensils.

The weather did allow for enjoying the porch and the doggie door was very nice.

We would certainly consider renting again.

Great

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was great! Beautiful rooms with nice sitting area. The "condo" looks different from the outside. More like an an apartment complex. There are not enough kitchen supplies to cook a meal there and it is difficult to find kitchen utensils. No salt and pepper. The porch out back is beautiful! Perfect for morning coffee :)

Very comfortable and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

It was very fitting for my small family. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming. AC was nice and cold for the humid Georgia weather. Overall, we definitely would plan on coming back.

Relaxing get away

  • 4 of 5

This condo was a lovely place to spend a long weekend at Lake Lanier. Although the dock access at the condo provided only a view of a marina, we found a beautiful beach at Vanns Tavern Park less than two miles away, where we ended up spending a great deal of time. The rest of the time, we really enjoyed the porch at Aqua Blue.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to sample the lake life.
